Study: 655,000 Iraqis die because of war

A controversial new study contends nearly 655,000 Iraqis have died because of the war, suggesting a far higher death toll than other estimates.

The timing of the survey's release, just a few weeks before the U.S. congressional elections, led one expert to call it "politics."

Because it is not. Parts of it support peace, some does not, just like its followers, and the same for other religions. Sunni killing Shite, American killing Iraqi, vice versa.... putting a bullet in your brother never put a smile on God's face, whatever god is. But you do what you do.

Maybe we can ship Babs and Rosie to Iraq for an impromptu USO tour? Babs does a sterling rendition of Laura Nyro's "Stoney End", she could do it while the bullets whizzed by her head.
