It can get discouraging. Have you tried getting out into your local community? If you would, that puts you way above what the rest are willing to do. The slave of a friend of mine used to do a presentation when he was not collared called "How to serve when there's no one to serve". In it , he called for volunteering in your local community...working with groups and such. Still, again, this means getting out from behind the computer. Master Fire

To the OP, I guess my question to you would be why post this in the 'Ask a Mistress' forum as opposed to asking the same question in the 'Ask a Submissive/Slave' forum? If you're sincerely looking for ways to stay 'motivated', seems to me that forum would provide much more practical advice. Then again, it wouldn't provide as much 'exposure'. Hope it works out.

When I saw your screen name posting this thread, it made me recall some of your other threads. To refresh my memory, I took a quick browse through. You complain about prodommes. You complain about people from other countried contacting you here. You complain about a fetish party you went to where no one was playing (nor were you). You're looking for a really specific fetish to engage in. Honestly...it rather reminds me of our other resident complainer who can't find a domme and doesn't seem to know why. Yes, it's sometimes tough to keep a positive attitude. However, if you're looking online to meet someone real time who will engage in the specific fetish you want AND a D/s based relationship, then you're pretty much going to be out of luck. Turn off the computer and get involved in your local scene. But most of all - keep a positive attitude about it. Don't go running to the message boards to complain if you don't meet someone who interests you. Don't complain that no one you meet lives up to what YOU think you want. Keep an open mind about it. I'm sure you're well aware that there are far fewer dommes out there than there are subs. It's going to take time and it's not guaranteed that it will ever happen - unless of course you have a sour attitude, and that DOES guarantee it won't happen.
