Has anyone been to Fakir Musafars Spirit and Flesh workshop? How would rate the actual pain of the experience, and did you actually have anything shamanic happen to you during it? He's coming in October, and I wanted to get some third party observations.

Never been, myself, but back when I was active in the community, Fakir was a part of the same clique I orbited through. I've heard many reports of altered states of consciousness from the rituals he hosts, and he is considered highly competent. I doubt you'll be disappointed, but as always, your mileage may vary.
