I wish he would not have said anything at all...

I play one of these games and on this game they have chapels to pray at, prayer protects you... so I needed to pray and I went in to this chapel and it was filled with other players attending a "wedding", so I inadvertently became a wedding crasher

ROFLMAO as a GamerGal I had to laugh at this one. It does happen and its not unheard of for IRL marriages to break up so people who meet in a game can be together. Though most of those don't always last. I have to admit though a proposal on a message board is different. Having read his ramblings though I would say he is more infactuated then in love. Look how he jumps from woman to woman.

I would say in all the years of gaming I've seen quite a few relationships blossom (my own included I met my sub on Star Wars Galaxies). When they are taken into IRL sometimes they last sometimes they do not. We were lucky.

I wish them the best

Sweetie, you have FAR too much time on your hands (and now that I look at what I just wrote...I'm going to go shoot myself).

Scarily, A guy i grew up started online dating his "wife" on EQ and after a year and a half moved to the US and married her. They are still happily together.

Guess you really can find love anywhere.

edited cause the volwel keys keep wandering around my keyboard

My ex is now living with the gamer he was infatuated with when we started having problems.  I should have seen the signs... he started inviting her along on all the missions... helped power level her character so she could solo in the bigger cities...
He has talked about proposing too, and having an ingame ceremony for all their friends who couldnt travel to a real one.  I didnt laugh when we were on the phone.
I dunno, at age 30 he ias 2 exwives already... maybe she should take a step back and wait... but you know how impulsive gamers are.

My 2 cents
