Do I have to pick one? I can't. For straight alcohol: I'm on a bourbon and rye exploration right now (Merc -- you like Oban? Try Rittenhouse Rye, for a similar complex taste, no peat of course and a bit more sugar). So my favorite would be Woodford Reserve (bourbon) and Rittenhouse Rye (rye, obviously) but I won't say "no" to Maker's Mark either. Vodka -- I love Three Olives. Its incredibly smooth, wheat based, makes a great vodka martini Scotch -- I like too many, but give me Oban, Lagavullin or (my current favorite) Glen Farklas cask strength. mmmmmmmmmm E

"When you wake up, Pooh," said Piglet, "what's the first thing you say?" "What's for breakfast? What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
