But life is like that, go bald as a man and you are fucked as far as most (which of course means one woman will post saying SHE loves bald men, but one woman doesn't make a trend) or if  you have a tiny cock or are short or have a high voice.

In polls women have said consistently the same thing about bald men

25% love bald men and have a thang for them... and I have to say there are some men that are very hot that are hot because they are bald

50% do not care one way or another, they are looking at the total picture and not the hairline (I fall into this camp)

25% would not touch a bald man with a 10 foot pole

Personally speaking I prefer men that are extremely active and agile more than I care about the amount of hair on a man's head.. in fact there is something totally sexy about a fresh buzz cut and rubbing my hands over that short crisp hair....mmmmmm

Well, if  75% of women don't have a problem with bald men then that is good enough for me! 3 out of 4 is not a bad ratio in anyone's book. Genuinely, I've never had any problems with women since being bald but I think, like any personal characteristic, it's a case of mind over matter - it's only an issue if the bald person makes it an issue and lets it affect his confidence. After all, women do like confidence and if that goes then the man is in trouble in terms of attracting women.

What do you think? The men you've been out with - do they share any characteristics?

Yup, they sure do...they have all been ruggedly good looking, blue collar, hard working guys who have a strong affinity for living outside the box.

I wasn't trying to discount your theory at all, actually I believe it is quite credible. There was even a study that was released just last week that women put more effort into their appearance and even dress more provactively when they are ovulating.....and the study went on to further say that men were shown a group of women who they were asked to rank in the attractiveness department and the men chose the women who were indeed fertile at the time as the "more" attractive.

Yeah, it makes sense to me. Take away the civilisation, the expensive clothes/personal hygiene and the primal instincts are still buried in the subconscious driving our decisions.

I watched a documentary a few months ago and, in a nutshell, the argument put forward was that everything we do is geared towards attracting the opposite sex (or same sex depending on sexual persuasion). Whether it be the music we listen to, the clothes we wear, the restaurants we go to etc - it's all a statement of the person we want women to think we are and by extension the person we think women will be attracted to. Quite an interesting documentary.
