Person 1 "hi, how's it going?"

Person 2 "fuck you - you're blocked!!!"

mnottertail -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 7:19:54 AM)

Person 3:  WTF?

subdelicious -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 7:20:42 AM)

I haven't had this kind of conversation.  Sorry you did.  There are all kinds of people out there.  You never know who you will run into.  Don't take it personally.  It says a lot about what kind of person they are.

Rover -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 7:20:47 AM)

Person number two is frequently a disillusioned thirty-something year old male (or older), at Collarme posing as a woman with a hijacked picture found on the net, and trolling for lesbian or bisexual women to engage in online fantasy fulfillment.  Of course, there's some humor in realizing that the "girl" he hooks up with is probably named "Butch", has a three day growth of beard and works as a stevedore at the fish dock.

Emails from men threaten his fragile sexuality and he over reacts by blocking you.

Person #4, "no, fuck me!"......with note of desperation

Person #5:

Drop by the house---  (didn't know you would consider that, love...lol)

Thinking as I contemplate all the possibilities.......you just gotta know this thread is gonna get moved to "random stupidity" because it has the potential for too much fun.

LOL.............you should posted this on the humor forum!

Rover -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 7:37:11 AM)

Several months ago I wrote to one of the poseurs, explaining that any "girl" that hooked up with him would also be a guy posing as a girl.  He wrote back rather shocked and horrified, and blaming me for the loss of his erection.

i have to be honest here.  i absolutely hate when someone sends me an email as Person 1 above (no, i do not answer as Person 2 as i try to have a little more respect than that).  But why don't people write and at least let their intentions be known so the receiver has a better idea of what they are looking for?

If you do not want to be wordy in the first contact, a simple "i read your profile and found you interesting.  Perhaps you can read mine and let me know if you are further interested."  Or, if just looking for a friend....explain that instead.

i cannot count how many emails i get asking "So how's the weather up in NY?" or "How are you today?" or how about just "Hi!"...etc.  What is the sender's intent?  Just looking to chat?  Interested in something more?  i really don't have time to respond to a lot of one line questions that will probably end up leading to nothing.

And if i look at the profile and see it is not someone i would be interested in and write that back....they say they weren't looking for that anyway....just a friend!  Again, it would just be so much easier if some kind of intent was relayed in the first message.  Just a thought....

Person #7, "It's HOES!! If you cannot spell hoes correctly I sooooo cannot let you whip or fuck me!"

Person #7:

NOW, they say, 'Fuck you, you're blocked!'

It doesn't usually happen as fast as one-two.

That isn't a verbatim example - it was more of a joke.

LaTigresse -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 8:04:38 AM)

damn I am good

DivaDuchess -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 8:05:28 AM)

I have admittedly noted people complete not what I am looking for nor even what my husband is looking for.  When I do, I get alot of rather interesting responses.  I did respond to one ... once ... I told her to get off her prudish horse and play nice with the other children.  You don't have to agree with HOW I live my life, but you should respect the fact that I have the right to live it.

If I offer friendship (which isn't something I do often), then it's sincere.  I don't expect anything other than ... friendship.  So I tend to tell those that are rude to get themselves a life.  Or ... make their way to reality.  This is a BDSM personals site, what do they expect to find?

hsagnev -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 8:36:32 AM)

LaTigresse?  Is that you? How's it going?

juliaoceania -> RE: Typical Conversation on CM (10/14/2006 11:15:07 AM)

One the other side my conversations tend to go like this...

person emailing me: Hey baby, nice pictures, email me at ididnotreadyourprofile.com

Me: no response

them: Hey baby, how come you do not email me back and chat?

me: no response

Them: come on and email me

me: I have related in my profile I am taken and my Daddy's name is on my profile, if you want any further response please ask him for it.

Usually they go away, but not always...

Once my Daddy had to email them back when they would not go away, and no I do not block anyone.
