I absolutley love the fall! Yesterday I went out to the property that I hunt. Did some wandering and scouting in the woods and got the hunting blinds "cleaned" up.. Blew a whole bunch of holes in stuff.

I'm not sure why but the air seem to revive and rejuvenate me. It also wears me out. I can spend the whole day outside in the summer and not have it affect me that way....but a few good hours out there in the fall makes a nap in front of the fire almost mandatory when you come in.

I love the changing colors. The way the leaves crunch under your feet. The way that sound seems to start travelling further. I love the way the crisp air feels and smells. Sweaters. Pumpkins. Cider and donuts. Halloween. Thanksgiving.

Fall is just a great time for me. I realize not everyone sees the marked changes that we get here in the northern states...but for those who do....what is it about fall that you like...or dislike?

I love fall it is by far and away my favorite season. The leaves changing, it smells a good different and the temparature makes me feel I have more energy and everything has a fresh feeling to me. I also think, although maybe purely pscychological, that people slow down a little in the fall and there is less rushing from one thing or destination to another and there are just more positive and fun things to do in the fall with others.

Yeah, I get that too. Summer is too hot to be energetic and winter just makes me want to cuddle under some down blankets or soak in a tub of hot water. The only other season that gives me that energetic boost is spring.

Fall is my favorite time of year. Its not hot and muggy, its not cold its just right. I love the blaze of colors that come out on the trees. The only thing I don't like is the mold pollen goes up and makes my allergies worse then the norm. But I can live with that.

I love the fall.  One of my favorite sounds is leaves rustling in the wind.  All that movement speaks of life to me. Plus, it means winter is coming, and I love winter, too!

Here in Oregon and most of the west coast it is raining....none stop for this season. I love it. the leaves are changing colors and it is just beautiful. Though after awhile, the rain gets to me.

Actually, i am missing fall in CAor more the Sacramento area since it was always a nice amount of rain, i could go apple picking to make pie, and do all sorts of harvesty things. :(

I just love spring and fall.

Spring energizes me and I get such a high from everything about it. I have always been intensely connected to nature so spring is just the best.

Fall I go into nesting mode. I find more time to enjoy the moments. More hikes in the woods. More time just taking in the beauty of the changes, noticing the weird details that if voiced make other look at me funny. Example, something I said the other day as I was standing outside talking to someone. "have you noticed how the bird sounds have changed now that most of the songbirds have already left". I also love the evening campfires with friends sitting in lawn chairs wrapped in blankets with our feet towards the fire. I cook alot more now also. I like the process of getting ready for winter.

I LOVE fall. This year has been a little too cold I mean it was snowing pretty hard when I was walking to class the other day. But I love the smell of fall and all the changing colors. I like the cool weather and I HEART Halloween (my favorite holiday). I love pumpkins and it's the time of year when football starts. I find it so comforting for a football game to be on the tv while I'm doing random things around the house. Unless the Packers are playing the Vickings then my Dom and I are all over that. Ps: I'm a cheese head

I like the fall too, but basically I like any season except winter.  And the one thing fall doesn't have going for it is that it leads into winter.

I like all the seasons! Winter being my least favorite....enjoy the first couple of snows then it looses it's appeal to me? Springtime I'm burnt out from climbing over the hills all winter long looking for sheds and start thinking about ridin bikes come summer. Summer gets over and all burnt out from ridin and I'm all ready for winter to arrive so I can comb the hills chasing sheds again....the never ending cycle. Basically I enjoy all the seasons........

Fall is my favorite.

It's not super cold, it's not super hot, and I love the changes in everything.

...Not to mention, Less pollen, No hurricanes, and less rain for here.

It's just...a beautiful season.

Wow....how cool!!! I've always wanted to get into doing this more seriously. I often look for them when I'm out mushrooming...but I think that by then most likely they are gone.

This is the first time in a month that I've seen the sun, it's been crazy storm all the other days..fall is so NOT my favorite season nor is spring it makes my bum go all wet 'cause of the damn that I ALWAYS slip and end up in puddles it so sucks...give me summer and winter any time...just not the in-the-middle seasons

Sign me up!

Fall has always been my favorite. You can't beat a sunny fall day. Warm sun, slightly cool and crisp air, spectacular changing colors... yeah, baby!

Some of my most memorable romantic dates have been walking through the Morton Arboretum on spectacular fall days with desired company.

I've always enjoyed Halloween, and continued to celebrate it with costumes and parties well into my 20's. And Thanksgiving has been my favorite holiday since adulthood...

I love fall and winter both. Spring a little less so, and summer not at all really. Where I live it just tends to be too warm in summer.

Summer traps me indoors, while fall frees me.

Wow, you and I have agreed on something twice now in less than a week..lol j/k

I love the fall, it has to be my favorite time of the year.  The cool evenings, the sound of leaves blowing and crunching underfoot.  The smell of fresh apples from the local orchard, and hot cider in the evenings.

It just seems like there is so much beauty in fall, some get depressed because it means the flowers are going, and winter will be here.  I prefer to think that it's about life changing, and going through it's stages, sort of the labor before the birth, or something like that.

I only wish I could get out and travel some, this is my favorite time to do that also.

I didn't realize how much I'd miss it until living in Austin- I guess technically we're in the fall because highs are only in the 80s and there's some more rain and the daylight is fading.  But leaves really haven't started to change and there's no real sign of what I know as "fall."

Spending almost my whole life in the mid-Atlantic area, you get used to feeling nippy at nights at this point, starting to break out the hot cider and hot chocolate, wearing jackets and long sleeved shirts.

I miss "fall."
