Status: offline 		Ok this kind of struck me...BUT the bright side is that females...NO MORE SHAVING

Social division might split humans into two sub-species 100,000 years from now, an evolution expert has claimed.The descendants of the genetic upper class would be tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent, and creative. They would be a far cry from the "underclass" humans, who will have evolved into dim-witted, ugly, squat goblin-like creatures.The forecast was made by Dr Oliver Curry, who spent two months investigating the ascent and descent of man over the next 100 millennia.He said, within a thousand years, humans will evolve into coffee-coloured giants between 6 and 7ft tall.But Dr Curry said centuries of sexual selection - being choosy about one's partner - was likely to create more and more genetic inequality.The logical outcome would be two sub-species, "gracile" and "robust" humans.Dr Curry said: "Things could get ugly, with the possible emergence of genetic 'haves' and `have-nots'."Other predictions included::: Physical appearance, driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility, will improve.:: Men will exhibit symmetrical facial features, look athletic, and have squarer jaws, deeper voices and bigger penises.:: Women will develop lighter skin, large clear eyes, pert breasts, glossy hair, even features and smooth hairless skin.:: Racial differences will be ironed out by interbreeding, producing a uniform race of coffee-coloured people.:: Improved nutrition and medical science will see people growing taller and fitter, while life-spans are extended to 120 years.


...but then the human race is due to die October 31st 2.252.006

Status: offline 		I get the feeling as I look out of the window here, that this has already happened.

I am living amongst the dim-witted, ugly, squat goblin-like creatures right now! Whilst I am tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent, and creative......... (not so sure on the attractive bit though, fish, fish!)

Does this make me an endangered species where I live? Is this why I cant get any sex - 'cause inter-species breeding is not desirable to either side?

This explains a lot

For this reason I recommend women not to bear him any children. It will improve the species if he does not reproduce.

Status: offline 		I've heard from other research that people could never interbreed fully and just make a new entire interbred race of just tan people.

Certain genes are just more dominant then others.

"Interesting" theory, none-the-less.

It's "scientists" like Curry which the radical right enjoys putting in the spotlight as examples of how looney the believers in evolution truly are.

Sounds like Curry came up with an "ideal" and then tried to figure out a way it would work.  Anything not supporting it is ignored.

On the social side of things this would only work if humanity was a complete blank state ...no religious or  cultural  beliefs ..(barring Curry's own so folks would know tall is good) as these basic drives do strong motivate partner choices

It's a highly unlikely scenario, most regional variations are the result of geographical barriers of long standing, i.e, millenia. There are no recorded instances I'm aware of gross morphological or intellectual variations due to social selection, unless we're talking incest.

Ten centuries of enforced eugentics in Europe failed to result in any notable differences that proper nutrition didn't address, so I sincerely doubt that anything like this would happen naturally.

At best, any IQ differences between "classes" are due primarily to differences in nutrition and cognitive stimulus - it has nothing to do with genetics, also implicated is environmental exposure to neurotoxins, levels of which tend to be higher in inner cities.

A study of residents in a Chicago housing project revealed an average ten point IQ deficit between residents of the same complex who lived either facing the highway, or on the opposite side where breezes of the lakes kept the exaust fumes away.

Exaust fumes, until around 15 years ago contained high amounts of lead. Years of these deposits still linger in inner cites where there was a lot of traffic, and heavy metal poisoning has been shown not only to cause neurological damage, but also to increase the incidence of anti-social personality disorders.

That guy that shot up the McDonalds back in the early Eighties was welder who had extremely high concentrations of Molybdenum in his organs, including his brain.

Status: offline 		Some of it I kinda see happening, but not even 100 000 years in the future.  I mean, look at America today, how mch interbreeding is going on.

However, the "big penis" idea is kinda idiotic, no?  Granted, good looks are important, but a good looking guy can still have a small dick and still get laid by a good looking chick.

In general, I think there is already the giants and the goblins, but not with features divided up - square jaw vs. Chinese phone book.

Long story short, I am a giant, y'all suck.
