The majority of people you meet online prefer to have cyber based relationships. The majority of people you meet offline prefer to have offline based relationships. There are minorities in both who prefer the other.

Since I am not a Master than I can only speak from a Mistresses point of view. I do prefer real life but then again some tasks can be done just as easily online and show that someone is serious. Mind you I am not after sexual favours so some simple tasks that prove someone has it within them to serve me might just turn my head.

Personally, I don't understand the point of online Domination or cybering, et al. I like my D/s and BDSM to be up close, personal, and hands on.

When I have my boy doing little tasks that are easily proven to have been done online, then online will work just fine. If I want something more useful to me in real life, online is going to fall short. The major problem with online domination, if it is going to be JUST online, is keeping it interesting enough to stick with for something more thana very short term. It works well for a lead-up, and when working with a long distance relationship, but it lacks the permanency. Without realtime meetings somewhre along the line, not only is trust harder to maintain, but keeping things fresh and interesting becomes chalenging. If you enjoy it, maybe its worth the chalenge. i live with the One that has my life and to be honest i have never had an online relationship. personally i would think it would be hard to be online and not seeing eachother.

I don't care for online play. It's just that - play. I'm one that will use the internet just to arrange a face to face meeting and that is about it. I don't do longterm chatting or emailing. It's a waste of time.

You know you're really into the cyber session when you can talk on the phone to your mom, while reading e-mail and cybering at the same time. Oh the feelings and the joy of the control yawns Cybering can be fun if you want to go in just for the same reason as reading or watching porn i guess. To get the mental stimulation, added in with a lil one handed typing. Online can work for instructions when you and your partner are not always together, but with out the face to face atleast semi consistancy I just can't see the point. I agree that it's pretty much as fun as watching porn, or a mag, it fits the purpose for which you want it. I think those that spend years online, as subs or Doms don't really want to step into real life at all. Maybe it works to fill some type of void for them, I don't know..but to each their own. Akasha

LOL I just went and check that highjoy link, read the fine print and the highjoy vibes well in order for them to work besides the batteries, usb etc, is also required a highjoy membership. omg what next lol
