Hum... Guessing they're used to getting mail that claims counter to that. Some people receive mail just to claim that their picture is fake, or mail that insults the addressees "realness" when they snub advances. A bit hilarious when you think about the logic on the latter (Assuming that it just isn't human nature). Now I haven't really dealt with this personally, but a rational outcome goes like this: Sender: "Hey baby... (Etc. etc.)" Sendee: "Sorry, not really looking right now/Sorry, wrong gender/Sorry, RT only" Sender: "...You're totally not a true lifestyler..." ----> This is the perfect way to woo someone over, obviously. This doesnt have to be limited to CM, the internet, or dating. Everyone's seen individuals that are all rainbows and candycanes about another until any form of rejection takes place, before said individuals radically change their tune. Theoretically, if one had enough people attacking one's "alternative-lifestyleness" (Although why lifestyle/-lifestyle is positive/negative is beyond me), they might see the need to start defending it.
