I'm a straight guy and would like to find some other guys in my area - West Virginia - who are into spanking. If I see a guy I'd like to spank me or that I'm interested in spanking, how can I find out if he's interested without totally humiliating myself? Any ideas?

If you meet them on the street...eh, don't know what to tell you.  You're straight, so it's not like you're looking for a guy to get more intimate with, so there goes the affectionate swatting him on the ass to break the ice.

Have you tried searching the profiles at http://www.collarme.com/bdsm/default.htm ?

If you click on the blue box that reads "Interest Search Off" you will be given a screen to search the profiles by interest.  Spanking is listed under the "BDSM 3" tab.

You have to read up on telepathy so you and learn to read other peoples minds.

During casual conversation, mention phrases such as "Spank you very much" "Somebody spank me" and "Something like that is going to get you spanked" See who takes it as a joke and who takes it as flirting.

Get more envolved with sports. Football and Baseball players slap each other on the arse all the time.

Well yungspankee, i guess you take the same chance that everyone else does around here when you approach another.  Sometimes you have to ask to know...and might be embarrassed by their response.  If you approach them, i guess you will have to expect that.  On here, it might help to only apporach those who specify spanking somewhere in their profile.  That might cut down on the 'available opportunities'...but you may save yourself some 'humiliation'.
 
But beside that.....there are other groups outside of this whose main focus is spankings...male/fem, male/male, fem/fem, etc.  You might try a google search for 'spanking groups' (or something simliar).  i actually do have a link to a spankings personals site but can't seem to find it right now  :(

I can totally see your dilema, and given that you do not have that intimacy with men like women do with one another, even moreso difficult.  Instead of asking how to find a man who will deliver you, ask yourself why you want this.  It may broaden your horizon as to your search.

When I was new, I joined several yahoo spanking groups and chatted with some people online about it until I realized that I was wanting more than just spanking.  To find these groups, just go to the yahoo groups page and do a search on spanking, and you can even make it specific to your area.  Once you join one, you usually get a document that lists all of them in the US, which can be helpful.
