Having just put the techgolem project to bed for the morning ... I'm getting ready to crash myself since I'll be working today.  Bleh.

But got a cool gift in the mail from a friend who's known me too long.

A steel hipflask with MEH. laser etched in it.  Since "Meh" is my most common reaction when someone tries to shock me.

So yeah ... going to bed now.  Have a good turkey day for those of you who live in the USofA.

Turkey is in the oven, trying to keep UM #2 from making "pre-turkey lunch," and trying to figure out where to get a Washington Post with all the Black Friday ads in it so that I can plan my day tomorrow.  All the stores in my town are out already...  *sigh*

Hello A/all,

Well, I wanted to work today, but on Monday I picked up a weekly job (good for 7 days) at the highest skill category (highest paying) I can take down in the harbor which is good until Sunday.  That job is not working today, so I am "dead" because I am back to that job on Friday, so I cannot work in the harbor today.

So I am doing what I almost never get the opportunity to do since I work 2 jobs, I am cleaning my place, doing laundry, watching videos, gonna go shopping, probably bake a rhubarb pie later, defrosting homemade pasta sauce to make pizza for dinner, etc., etc.

I would call it spending a quiet Thanksgiving at home, but my life is seldom, if ever, something that the word "quiet" or "relaxing" would apply to.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and if it is not too early to say Seasons Greetings, then I will say that as well.
