EStrict -> Corsets (1/22/2004 9:25:20 AM)

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on corsets. Master wants to start corset training. It's always been something he was interested in, but we have had trouble finding them to fit (I have a 38F bust). Does anyone know a local place in Vegas or place nearby in CA or even somewhere online that is good with custom fitting?

Sandy

In orange county, Ca there is a place called versatile fashions. They custom make almost anything you may want. Corsets included. Pretty reasonable prices.

Their link is.
http://www.versatilefashions.com/F_index.html

You can get on their mailing list to recieve all of the sales. Basically you can e-mail your measurements in. Or go in for a day and I believe you may be able to pick it up the same day.

Good Luck on the corset Hunting.

Gloria

an underbust model is best for waist training, especially when one is large of bust (i feel you there, am a 32GG/34H myself). it will be more comfortable, fit better, and focus more on the waist than when even a custom corset is cut to deal with a large bust.

for training, custom ones are best but -if you haven't already- getting a less costly pre-cut corset to get used to the feel and practice on your own and with your partner getting into and out of, daily care of skin, etc. is helpful :)

finding a maker where you can go for a professional measuring is excellent, if you can, but of course that's not always an option... i have to have my spouse do my measurements for me as i never live within a convenient drive of one....

my next corset purchase will be from either of these locations:

http://www.meschantes.com
http://www.waspcreations.com -heard lots of good about them, especially, and have seen some lovely work of theirs.

i wouldn't recommend Baku corsetry (http://corsetry.net/). they make lovely products, but are not -in my experience- a reliable or honest company. when i ordered from them, they were several months late in finishing and shipping my order while being dishonest about it's status and shipping. it took over a year to receive it and -while beautifully constructed- it was Not completely as described. nothing unwearable, it's lovely, but i personally do not feel okay with ordering from them again.

i have two corsettes, one all leather and one made by delicious in Fl . you need to buy one at least 6 inches smaller than your measurements(waist)

LadyMindParadox -> RE: Corsets (7/10/2005 8:09:50 PM)

My personal fave site to at least drool over is:
http://www.yosa.com/

All corsets are custom made, but it might be a place to check out for a more formal corest?

I have just recently purchased two wonderfully wicked high quality leather corsets on eBay. they have sizes for everyone small to very large. The one store that I found I like most Alter Ego Enterprizes has some items that can be custom made to fit your measurements.

Do a search on "plus size leather corsets" and fish around until you find Alter Ego products. Then go to their store. YOu will most likely find one that will make you and your master very happy.

Not if they're looking to get one for figure training. Alter Ego has a great selection of styles, but they're all 'off the rack' fashion models. Figure training requires custom fitting to produce a corset that doesn't compress in the wrong places and allows pain free reduction. You're very unlikely to get that in an off the rack design.

If you're looking for something to wear to a party or a renfair event, Alter Ego is just what you're looking for. Interested parties can see their Ebay store here.

I bought mine online at http://stores.ebay.com/House-Of-Worship, but her main site is www.houseofworhsip.ca

She does custom fittings, so everything will fit you in all the right places. And you choose what fabrics and add ons you want and such. I highly reccommend her :)

Got luck finding one :)

Corsets...something we've all gotta own.The good ones are expensive,but well worth the $$.An alternative for someone with talented fingers lol,is a corset pattern,easily found through McCalls or Simplicity patterns.You can have a whole wardrobe of them...great for someone like me,who loves to play dress-up.
