Ok Ive always thought my profile rather sedate mild and vanilla but after sending a polite note to a submissive I got the following back.

"Your profile expresses a short of personality (agressive, crude, over the top) that I have never gotten along with. I don't think we'd be compatible. "

Ok I can see  that compatibility is a personal thing  But  aggressive and crude?
What in my profile could inspire  that responce?

.........................................F69M
THEN  when I send a simple "Are you sure you got the right profile" I find myself  blocked so she must feel that its really BAD!

Maybe the 69 in your name?
Maybe the sections with all caps~~~> yelling?
Something about you turned her off.
Who knows what.  Think of it as time saved.  Move on.

If your profile reflects your personality, and you are comfortable with it, who cares what she thinks? If you think that you want to edit it for wider appeal, lose the curse words, exclamation points, and caps... but if it reflects your true personality, it will appeal to someone. Some people like bright colorful house colors, more people like sedate conservative colors, if you are trying to add "mass curb appeal" to your product then change it.. if you are looking for that one special and appreciative buyer, leave it be

Just my thoughts

Thank you  Ladies for your insight its not so much that I want to edit it for a wider appeal maybe even the opposite what I want is it to be an  acurate refletion of myself  Of course I dont know how it apears to otheres so I wondered if her reaction was the way most percive it. Id like my fun and enthuseastic side to show thru but its seems it is percived as somthing else.

No, it doesn't come across as sedate, mild and vanilla at all to me. It comes across as excitable and loud rather... all those CAPS and EXCLAMATIONS!!!!

Were you going for sedate, mild and vanilla..?

Your profile isn't bad, on the whole, it does convey your "enthusiastic" personality, and you should be who you are to attract someone like-minded whose personality is compatible with yours.  It was probably "over the top" for HER, which is her problem, not yours.  The crude, however, she may have gotten from the words "NO SHIT" in the opening line of your header.  But once again....if "no shit" is who you are, then you just have to hold out for another "no shit" kind of woman and don't let others' opinions bother you.

At least she's honest and told you exactly why she wasn't interested.  We get new threads every week from people complaining that the emails they send are just ignored, and they BEG for  replies like hers!

I agree with your assessment of your profile. It's a bit on the vanilla side and rather mild.

I also can see where someone would think it's a bit over the top, as if you're trying too hard to convince others of just how much fun you are. The cyber shouting is a bit off-putting, (and does read as aggressive) but basically, if it's accurate, it gives a good sense of who you are and what life would be like with you.

It's probably going to attract exactly the sort of person whom you are seeking, so it's purpose should be served.

Were I you, I wouldn't change a thing (except maybe the spelling and grammar.)  If nothing else, it reminds me of one of those - what you see is what you get - sort of profiles which doesn't seem to be a bad thing to me.

Good luck to you.

Celeste

She just may have had no interest in your and used that excuse as just that, an excuse.  There are many both sides of the coin who complain about never getting a response, I suppose you should consider yourself lucky you got a response.

I truly would not worry too much about your profile, if it honestly reflects who you are then leave it as is.

I don't think it's crazy, but then again, it's not as if she's reporting you to the police. Maybe you're just "over the top" for her.

Id say you definately arent sedate and vanilla, but I dont see over the top either.  Maybe that was her way of saying "I dont think itd work" without wanting to come out and actually say why. The caps do look a little out of place, since they do tend to be a bit more of the excitable and rant-y drift, but other than that, its no worse than the majority of profiles on here.  IMHO of course

Maybe you remind her of someone she knew in her past who was over-the-top and crude in person and who wrote a lot like you do. Could be you even look like him. Sometimes I see men on this site who look like guys used to try to steal me away from my master--those men made me very angry at the time and I have a hard time getting over an instinctive prejudice against fellows who look like them. Luckliy they almost never write me! :)  So, yeah, I see her as expressing a personal preference--not saying you are like that to everyone.

Why are you taking this so personally? It's not like she called you a fat ugly smelly pig (something we women have to deal with on a regular basis). Just saying there are a lot worse things you could have been called by a stranger. I bet some people here could give you some more examples.

Your screen name contains a crude sexual reference, and there's a four letter word in the first sentence of your profile.  Yep, I'd say that would be sufficient criteria for me to delete and block.

Maybe you're a really nice guy and worth getting to know, but there's a lot of crudity to wade through on this site before I get to have an enjoyable, intelligent conversation with someone who actually fits the profile of what I'm looking for.  So generally I just block/delete someone at the first hint that they're going to be rude and crude.  My time on this site wouldn't really be manageable otherwise.  A screen name with obscene sexual references in it always gets blocked, simply because it's been my experience that folks who pick crude screen names have even more crude things to say in their emails.  Sometimes they send pictures too.

I don't have time to wade through all the unwanted and unwelcome explicit propositions I get on this site, so it just never pays to open emails from guys with sexually explicit references in their screen names.   I generally just delete them unread.

I agree with the majority here.  If that's who you are, leave it.  I don't particularly care for all caps myself, but that may be because I see it so frequently in my line of work.  I wouldn't worry about it.  But, I would take Celeste's advice and correct the spelling and grammar.

So funny how people have such different reactions.  i thought the profile was pretty mild and expressed an enthusiastic and upbeat personality.  Some might not like the "swear" word, but i got to admit, that sensibility seems silly in the face of the rest of the stuff that's on a site such as this, and the kinds of activities we are engaging in.  So, i dont get it...what's over the top?

Never thought it was rude, crude and ignernt (as a cousin says) but to each their own.  I've gotten complaints about mine too, oh well.

I'd posit that dynamic range is a desirable quality in any personality.  Exclaiming with every sentence likely drives people nuts.
Whether you seek someone who only wants exclamation, or not, I would not hazard to guess, but that is likely the person you have singled out for yourself with your profile.

The English language is so wonderfully ambiguous!

Enjoy Life,

It's terribly frustrating trying to fit into a box that pleases everyone. Kills the soul and makes us sad and dull.

You'll find your "fit". No need compromising with people who just want to make someone feel bad about themselves. You're not some drooling monster. It's better to have a profile that conveys who you truly are than some flowery lie that misleads someone into thinking you're not who you really are.

Lotsa women like enthusiastics guys.

I would posit also that we are not, here on this forum, trying to tell him how to change his profile, but merely posting our own reactions to his profile, so that the original poster might know if the the crazy sub's reaction will be commonplace, given the profile.

;)

Very true I didnt really want someone to "fix" my profile I just wanted to see if  I came across acurately.Thats why I posted here to see how the Subs percive it. on The other hand If its not acurate I suppose I should fix it
So three more questions there seems to be a bit of truble with the 69  in my name what impression is that giving?
How do you  convey enthusiasum without capitals or exclamation points?
And keeping  that in mind Im not crude how do I take that out?
And one note for those who think I should fix the spelling and the grammer......LOL if I could it wouldnt have been in there in the first place! just think of it as a disability(it is).
