Can someone explain the deal with the RedSkins to me? Saw the Southpark episode, now I see it's actually serious. From what I get it's some native indian tribe that after years and years of doing nothing decided to sue to get the copyright removed from the teams logo and now the team apparently wants to sue them for lost profits? First of all: Why do people need to copyright everything :( Second of all: Why are the indians offended by the logo? I'm sure drawing an indian face can't be copyrighted. It's the specific context that is the key issue here? Third: Why are the Redskins sueing the indians for lost profits? Can't they use the logo even though it's not copyrighted? Forthly: Have I goten anything of this right and if I am why are they such crybabies?

Well all my info comes from one South Park episode and one news article! South Park is great, but obviously there's just that much you can stick into a 23 minute episode. There's googling but that's meh... Oh yea, there's also the "Redskins" part...America with its racist dogma and history probably takes this more seriously on both parts of the fence. But yeah....It's a bit late, no? It's like creating racism where there isn't any. Just inflaming shit for the sake of inflaming it and getting some appology that doesn't mean anything? Was my friends favourite team when he played American Football (quite rare here) so it's a pitty, used to watch it with him from time to time.

Butch they have actually a lot better than their record suggests with a 3rd string QB 7 of the 10 teams they have played so far this year have been teams that was 10+ in the win dept last year, and were only really blown out twice THAT is a ruff schedule!

Against the woeful Raiders, they climbed their way out. Against New England and St. Louis, they got blown out. Until today, I was confident the Broncos would make it back to the Super Bowl. After today, I'm not so sure. Losing a game is one thing, but the Rams shut down the Broncos offense effectively. And our defense couldn't stop a QB I'd never heard of.

I just want to add my support to the Rams players that exercised their God and Country given right of free speech in expressing their support for the demonstrators in Ferguson. I do not agree with the protesters but I fought for the right for them to peacefully express their displeasure with their country. I thought the demonstration was done in a classy not in your face way and I applaud them. Butch

Interesting early games today. The Jokes give up a tough one in OT, the Saints are a no-show vs. the Panthers and the Rams shut-out Washington for their second shut-out win in a row. Next up, the games that matter [:D]

Well next Thursday the Rams and the Cardinals will matter. We will see if the Rams defense is the real thing or not. I will bet no one... even the Seahawks want to play the Rams in games that count. Butch
