INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana State police arrested Colts running back Dominic Rhodes for drunk driving Tuesday morning, police said.Rhodes was driving 81 mph in a 55 mph on northbound Interstate 65 in Indianapolis about 3 a.m., said Indiana State Police spokesman Sgt. Dave Bursten.
"It was a normal run of the mill drunk driving arrest," Bursten said.
Colts officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
Rhodes rushed for more than 100 yards in the Super Bowl win over Chicago. He is currently a free agent.

Hmmm, I wonder if Rhodes just guarenteed himself a new team. Dungy and Polian like a squeaky clean public image. I say the Bengals pick him up. He will fit in the Bengals Probation Pool nicely.

I wouldn't worry about "Precious" after all he did play with a broken jaw.

Bears franchised Lance Briggs, and finally gave the ax to Ron Rivera, who went to SD.

Yes I just read on nfl.com that Rivera is going to SD
Did he (I can't remember) interview for the head coaching job there?  He has interviewed at so many other organizations.

Yup, he did interview for the HC position. And 7 other teams too. Call me jaded, but they NFL has the " must interview minority candidates" rule and Riviera was probably interviewed to fill that quota, IMO.

Caitlyn... too funny. I loved that youtube !

Thanks, I didn't want to go looking for it.  He interviewed with the Steelers.  I knew he was making the rounds, as were some other minority candidates.  It's the Rooney Rule.

Another Colts player gets in trouble !  Oh dear, one SB win and the Colts are becoming the " bad boys" of the NFL.

They can't out do the Bengals, who are one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL.

This week the meat market, er, combine starts for college players looking for a paycheck. After this week all the mock drafts will actually be based on some data instead of wild guesses.

One guy I expect to go shooting up draft boards is Penn State LB Tim Shaw because he'll put in eye popping times in the 40 and other drills. He was overlooked as an LB playing alongside a Butkus Award winner, and then last season he played at DE. But I think teams are going to take notice of his speed, smarts and production and he'll jump from a late-2nd day guy to round 2 or 3.

Titans bad boy:

Jones, a cornerback with the Tennessee Titans, was showering (them with money) more than 40 strippers onstage at Minxx Gentlemen's Club & Lounge

LdT's father and brother were killed in a car accident.
How sad for Ldt and his family.

Yes, I saw that this morning on the news.  And Schottenheimer commented that LT is the nicest person he's ever known during his football career.

Some reports from the NFL combine:
Concern regarding JaMarcus Russell's weight, he's gained and now they are saying he's got to lose some pounds, he's approaching the "too large to be a qb" range.
Brady Quinn is not "competitive enough" because he didn't do the senior bowl and he's not fully participating at the Combine.  They are hinting that he may lose some spots in the draft because of it.

argh grammar edit

JaM is not too big to be a qb. this is just a rumor. and yes, I know this as fact.
most players gain a bit in the off season. He is still in great shape, and still works out daily.
Anyone here see the Sugar Bowl?  no comparing these 2 quarterbacks.
