hello to all and hugs,

i was just wondering, cause as i was looking at some profiles here – smoetimes i do cause i am curious about the people, and wanna get a glimpse of them – beside what they mention here in the forum i found some profiles – same pics – same men seeking a slave – seeking a Mistress/ Domina and vice versa.

Ok – may i just do not get it – if i consider myself as sub and Dom i would prefer to describe as switch and would choose on my profile.

for me it seems like an antagonism and i just don’t get it.
by the way – that i also do not get the point about honesty then…. but may there are some reasons for??

at the point:

why are Y/you here on collarme?

seeking fun?
seeking thrill?
exchanging kinky ideas?
seeking Y/your soulmate / Master / Mistress??

just curiuos – and i would really like to know it.

I'm mainly here for the forums and to hopefully meet a few friends along the way.

I admit I do profile surf though. I find it rather interesting how people present themselves.

I've long given up on finding anyone on-line so I stay now for the converstations but have to say over half the topics hold no intrest for me so I end up just passing them by. Also a lot of the time my opinion has already been expressed so i don't post either.

You've got me wondering.... why do i come back here..........?

I came for the forums, originally and that's still my most important focus here. I do find myself drawn to do a lot more profile surfing here than I did at alt and sending out a lot more messages to submissives with interesting profiles. I don't really expect to find a match online, although I did find my girl online at alt through sheer coincidence, but it's kind of like buying lottery tickets. Sometimes some people get lucky so why not try? It would be great to find another who fit in with us, but if it never happens the time spent here is still incredibly worthwhile.

I'm here for the board's. Sure, it would be nice to meet some new people along the way. Although my primary focus is the board's and learning new viewpoints.

No profile surfing for me. I honestly don't think they are very worth while.

i had a profile here once, spoke to a Dom or three, deleted the profile, then met one of the Doms again on another lifstyle site... the only reason i even came back was because of His interests in the Forums and He knew how much i enjoyed the study of the lifestyle as much as the practice.... so i'm back. Profile surf? well... He and i both do for grins and giggles and "can you believe???????" laughs.

of course, now neither He or i are on as much since W/we are on our way to a house and the alter *grins big*.

If I really wanted to I could post all sorts of profiles on me.

Sub, slave, switch, and Dom

Gay, Bi, Straight. Poly relationships and Single Relationships.

Why post all these profiles?
Guys and people who do this just want somebody and figured they can and will be any type of person to be what a person is looking for. So it's more about getting laid or being with someone. Not really my thing since I know exactly who I am and what I want and not desperate looking for another. I have one profile. It's me FangsNfeet. The real Macoy.

However in the real world I do have different presentations of myself. There's me in Church, me at the family reunion, me at an SM event, me at work, and so on. But in the end, I am always me.

I am here mostly because I wanted to find a new home online at least where I could continue to grow some at least in experience from reading and discussing with O/others and avoid the anoyance (sp) of the mind numbing antagonists that only take pleasure in disruption of life and experience in anyway they can.

a girl I trust very much showed Me the site that I might continue My journies here where perhaps I might encounter M/more that believe in the older ways of the L/s as opposed to what I see more on other sites I have been on where its modern brat wars more than anything else.

I mainly come here to enjoy sharing opinions on the forums and to chat and meet people.

I do scan profiles, usually just for fun. I would vaguely like to encounter a local play partner (or just more local folks with similar interests), but my current life is fairly busy so it's not something I devote a lot of mental energy to.

Why am I here? I'm bored, I'm lonely, I have too much free time on my hands, I like to hang with a crowd that dosen't squick if I should happen to mention some of the things I do, and there is a really favorable ratio of decent people over total jackasses on these boards.

I'm a wee bit confused... is there a limit on the number of profiles people can have? Or is it that people would rather have one person stick to a role... Dom/me, switch, sub, sea monkey?

I'm here to Lurk and Learn. You all have been great in opening my eyes beyond what is usually found here on the net. In my Lurking i've spoken to a Dom or three like Darlyn has but in my Learning i've realized that Sub doesnt equate to door mat and have found a better way of protecting myself. I'll admit it, I'm a forum junkie................[;)]
