Just the kind of response I expected.

Moving along.

Level -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/23/2006 9:49:53 PM)

I'm half-asleep and joking, sis. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and give a more adult response lol.

gooddogbenji -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/23/2006 9:54:58 PM)

Now, with new and improved monotone!  30% more monotony than the leading competitor!

(I'd write it in all caps, but that would imply emphases.)

Yours,

benji

Am I the only person who was thoroughly engrossed by this or what?

MizSuz -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/24/2006 7:14:32 AM)

Ok, I'm watching it now.  I gotta tell ya, I've studied the Theosophical Society a great deal.  Among others I've read BOTH volumes of The Secrect Doctrine (H.P. Blavatsky) and ALL of Alice Bailey's works.  I have never gotten any sort of secret, manipulative and malevolent ideas from them.  In fact, they were quite a positive thing for me.

So, while I haven't watched the entire program (it's 2 hours long!), Mr. Tsarion sort of lost me when he clumped HPB and AB into the illuminati.  I try to remain open.

More later.

Here's proof that too much LSD in the 60's wasn't a good idea - ROFL

Arpig -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/24/2006 7:40:37 AM)

well I tried to listen to it, but couldn't stay awake....just make it easier for me...is there any hairbrained bullshit this guy does NOT believe?

Paradoxy -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/24/2006 7:45:25 AM)

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

This guy looks like he's producer for gay porn!

MizSuz -> RE: Origins of Evil (10/24/2006 9:14:17 AM)

Ok, I watched it all.  I also went to his website and signed up for his 'check it out for free' schtick.  I ended up with an email saying a lot of nothing ('this is what you'll learn if you register at my site') with a lot of links taking me to the registration page that, not surprisingly, needs a credit card for membership.  And for the measely price of 100.00 I'll get one personal reading and a FREE one year membership.  Oh yeah, I'm gonna save my pennies for that.  I'm reminded of a recently departed from the scene "pro"-domme who charged consultation fees (coincidentally in the amount of 100.00) to discuss on the telephone whether or not she thought you would make a good client.

He's not saying anything that hasn't been said for a very long time by a lot of people.  I'm not entirely happy that it's put forward as a long standing (millenia) conspiracy or that what he calls conspiracy is necessarily all negative and/ or malevolent.  The presentation seemed to me to begin presenting as a thing to inspire fear, and then he closed by suggesting that we should all rid ourselves of fear and other personal darknesses. He refers to the ego in much the same way Alice Bailey and HPB did 100 years ago (with significantly less math than HPB used).

Do you, today, CARE if your ancient forefathers were not of this world?  Does it matter?  Will knowing this definitively change who you are today?  I dont think so.  Is it interesting?  Definitely.

December 21, 2012 - the next apocolypse.  I've now lived through at least two prophosied 'end of times' and ya know what?  I still have to get my taxes paid every year.  Every day we have an end of times and a new beginning (metaphorically).  Curiously, after every prophosied end of times the proponents will say 'it was metaphorical' while prior to that time presenting as metaphysical.

I once went to a MUFON meeting.  What was most discouraging to me was the volume of attendees LOOKING for something to be fearful of.  Not surprisingly, they were also the loudest, rarely letting anyone get a word in edgewise.  Granted, I only went to one meeting/ presentation and can not say whether or not this is an accurate sampling of the entire organization.  It was a very disheartening process for me.  It was a microcosm of what we see in our society today - lots of fearful alarmism.  I see a lot of conspiracy whackos among the ranks of conspiracy theorists.  Is there any truth is any of it?  I'm sure there is, at least here and there.  Do I care to plug into the fear that seems to accompany these sorts of things?  Not even a little.

I do, however, agree that our answers lay within ourselves (and not just with DNA).  Whether 2013 will be met with years of darkness (physical, metaphysical or metaphorical) I wait to see.

The universe will continue to cycle, we will survive or not.  It's rather elementary and any endocrine upset I might cause myself over it isn't going to change what is.

Actually...he DIDN'T lump Helena Blavatsky in with the illuminati. In fact..he spoke highly of her.

Alice Bailey was one of the founders of the Lucis(luciferian) trust. If anything..she was part of the agenda...and ill have to
concur with Tsarion.

Once the words "Credit Card" are used I move on.

Wow...i guessed you MISSED all of the FREE audio/video he has allowed on the internet then.
2nd....

If he has a product to sell..... BIG F*N deal. Better than selling chinese slave made goods to overweight Americans at Wal Mart.

I commend him to try to make a living off of selling THE TRUTH.

Well perhaps OTHER PEOPLE haven't heard it yet or have researched it yet. Did you even notice he QUOTED his references? I didn't get the sense he was promoting fear. If anything...he was trying to get across the message that you have been LIED to.....for centuries. How about instead of pissing on HOW he presents the information...why don't you REFUTE what he is saying? Or can you?

I care about ANYTHING that the "leaders" of this world have hidden from us or have DELIBERATELY left out of the history books...you bet.

Who said ANYTHING about an apocalypse? 2012 is a date set by the Mayans as an end of a galactic cycle and the movement of photonic energy into our part of the galaxy. Even scientists are now saying that the level of photontic energy is increasing exponentially over the past 30 years. What does it mean? There are only THEORIES.....but why not be aware of it?

OK...so any alternative information and thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX you are now associating with "Conspiracy theorists...or..."fearful alarmism" because of your "experience"?

Not very open minded if you ask me. Sounds very negative actually.

I prefer to keep an open mind.

Much better than buying into all the bullshit you see on TV.

THAT...is pure "Hairbrained bullshit"..as a poster above said about my OP.

Yup...

You have to attack the messenger with ad hominem attacks instead of presenting a rational argument.

Such intelligence shown has to be so sought after.!!!
