My sister would really like mom and I there.... well I have turned every stone over to obtain a dog sitter=-with no luck. It looks like I will miss being there.

My budget is very tight... furnace repair and a surprise bill I did not know was coming.

I asked many many people and to no avoid. kennel and motel too pricey.

My brother Ed is being a jerk- he is flying off to Pueta vallatta and wont be there...

ive heard 100 excuses as to why no one can lend a hand.

I cant leave her alone- nor can i take her.

IT really really sucks.

When I was a kid I always did this kind of things for friends and neighbors.

:-(

Aw, PaHunk.. I'm sorry you can't be there. That really bites. It's such an exciting time.. to become an uncle, have a new little life that you will get to see and perhaps help shape in some ways. Maybe you can't be there for the actual birth, but you damn sure can be there for the rest of the baby's life.. and that's what's going to count in the long run.

Hang in there and know the best is yet to come!

You are in Central PA? Tried any nearby colleges?

What about posting on somewhere like craigslist for a dogsitter? A trade or just a kind act ...

I have tried freecyckle, asking everone i know. I had 2 guys on standby now arent able to reach.

So good news tho. I might have found a farmer to do it.

Ill keep you posted. :-)
