Barley Water (either the Korean variety or the european version,  they're both good) during the summer.

Chai ( actual Indian Railway Tea,  not the crap premade stuff that $tarfucks tries to pass off as something actually potable. ) in the winter.

Coffee all year round.

MistressTexas -> RE: What 's Your Favorite Non-Alcholic Beverage? (10/29/2006 11:29:14 PM)

Mmmm custom blended honeybush chai tea steeped in milk. Sometimes with a splash of chocolate milk.

REAL "Indian Railway Tea" or Masala Chai ( what people call chai in the states ... which is silly as chai is simply hindi for tea.) for you to make at home.

(makes 1 quart)

2 cups water
3 to 4 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
3 to 4 cardamom pods (cracked open)

1/4 cup loose black tea (or 4 tea bags)
2 cups milk
4 tablespoons of sugar (or a little less)

Bring water, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom to a boil; let stand as
long as possible. Then add tea and let steep. Add milk to the
tea-spice mixture and heat but do not boil. When hot, strain and
add sugar. Stir and keep hot.

Another good recipe for it along with some history and trivia can be found here --->

If it involves something dealing with the Kitchen?  Damned straight.  ;-)

Any pet of mine never has to "worry" whether I want her to cook and clean for me.  She may have to clean the dishs afterwards.  But I do the cooking.

Doesn't it go to figure though?  Of my siblings,  my brother and I can cook well enough to be ANNOYED at some of the jackassery they pull on the Fod Network ... and our sister could BURN water.

Those two are a doddle compared to the pain I get in my head whenever that smarmy fucktard Bobby Flay gets screentime.
