1. The Chivalrous Knight
This strong, honorable chap protects his Lady against the insults and
enemies that beset her. Nothing will deflect him from his duty. He's tough
and enduring, would not dream of laying a finger on his Lady without
invitation, proud, and keeps his lance polished and ready for battle at all
times.
2. The Butler
The perfect butler is a model of restraint and decorum. He is
organized and efficient. He anticipates his mistress' wishes before she's
even thought of them. He takes a quiet pleasure in perfection -- always
striving to ensure his mistress is as comfortable and as perfectly served
as possible.
3. The Adoring Poet/Composer/Painter
His life is a hymn of praise to his muse, the woman who inspires his
art. He dedicates all his creations to her. Though she may be completely unattainable, he touches her with his creativity and artistry. His reward is the unfeigned pleasure she takes in his talent.
4. The Bodyguard (Kevin Costner, yet!)
Tough, dangerous, physical, he is the equal of all except the woman whom he's sworn to protect. He takes no shit. He takes pride in his physical skills. He may seem intimidating and even threatening to others, but his dedication to his task is equally obvious.

style her hair. He is proud of his mistress, and knows that such beauty requires the utmost dedication. And, as befits such an intimate servant, he is her
confidant, able to advise her, laugh with her, be cheeky and witty -- to a
point -- and bring choice tidbits of gossip for her delight. He may even
arrange her assignations ... and vet the suitability of courtiers for her attention.
