Just out of curiosity are there any sort of social functions occurring tonight (Friday, Oct. 27, 2006) or tomorrow (Sat.)? I'm not looking for anything specific such as playing. I'm only interested in making friends with similar backgrounds if possible (college educated professionals). This is going to sound lame, but I work so much that I haven't a single friend in the Bay Area and I moved here in 1998. Oh, by the way I'm in my late 30s.

Perhaps. You know, I forgot to say WHERE I was. I'm near the SF Bay Area, commonly referred to as South Bay (in the San Jose area).
