Does anybody know any good free websites that have Shibari tutorials WITH pictures?

I appreciate any good advise. Thank you.

Just look on Google with keywords "Shibari Tutorial" - you will come up with a lot (for example http://www.shibari.info/kata/).  But really, the techniques just require practice, practice, practice.  Look at some of your favorite pics and recreate the different elements on a log, your ankle, etc. Each position is a combination of elements, so practice and perfect each element so when you are working with another person, you can flow smoothly from one element to the next.

If you can, try to attend ShibariCon in Chicago next May - it's a great event with lots of educational sessions and just great interaction.  http://www.shibaricon.com/index2.html

I practice traditional shibari, karada, shinju and hojo-jutsu rope methods. Theres a guy named MorTis who is very good, hes done demos here before although I havent worked with him personally. Heres a site as good as any. Good luck

In addition to MorTis' CRAM tuts.....here's some others.  (Of course, another good place would be Midori's Japanese Bondage book......beautiful pics!)

http://www.ropefashions.com/index.php (All sorts of handouts from their workshops at Shibaricon, and they've got tuts in the members area.)

http://www.nawashi.com/tutor/sjm.html -- pics.  Pretty self explanatory.

http://ds-arts.com/RopeArt/ -- I'm pretty sure Tatu still has his tuts up somewhere on the site.

http://www.bondageproject.com/public/info-tipps_e.htm -- Rope bondage how-tos

http://www.encordees.com/pas_menu.html -- tuts in french (but great how-to pics)

http://www.japanrope.com/tutorial.html -- Japan Rope's tuts

Once again, what can I say...I want to take this opportunity to both congratulate Collarme AND wholeheartedly thank its brilliant members. Admittedly the world is full of fantasists but you guys are consistantly generous.

Yes, I am fairly new to the lifestyle and yes, I always seek knowledge. Thank you guys, you really are a credit to this site. Share the love!
