Ok, so its a pesudo-link from the Home page... Decided, screw it, I'll make a profile. So I punched in all the info and such. Less than an hour later, I get two messages from two seperate women. This strikes me as odd. For no other reason than I've never gotten more than two reactions from anyone on any profile-based sites (minus this one). So, I'm asking if anyone has tried this and had similar results? If so I'll assume its a site-based baiting technique set up to get you to pay their subscription costs. ((Edited since "sub" usually does not mean "subscription" on this site, and I'd managed to forget that))

New members often are flooded by emails. They saw your nick in the list of new members, looked at your profile, and subsequently sent you an email. It is just the email spike at the start of joining CM.

You will continue to get very intriguing emails that you cannot reply to until you pay the subscription fee

If it is collarme, it is free. IMHO this is a wonderful place to find other likeminded individuals; couples too.

Yeah, what you find out there is that those emails is what they would have sent, had they had an interest in you, but I can assure you they don't, I am of the opinion that they don't even know they are sending out those emails, it is someone trying to make a buck by giving you the ol' c'mon in order to pays your moneys to join and once there to find out it was all in fun. Ron

Yeah, I'd guessed that to be the desired result. Had to confirm it before I got myself excited and paid the money.
