Nope.  To aid in natural selection in an online forum.

Kinda like kicking a virtual dodo.

*shudderz*  at the thought you(or anyone for that matter)had to get here through castlerealm, or was ever directed to go there....no one should have to go through that hell.

~smilezz~

I actually like and support castlerealm.  It gets a bad rap, but I think the problem is what people DO with castlerealm and it's just become the "easy scapegoat" of sites, not the site itself.

My advice to the original poster would be to take another hiatus. Twelve to eighteen months, say. ASAP.

Then sway back in with another piss-and-moan post about negativity and we'll take things from there.

So i wonder why posts like this are made.  Just to be offensive?  [sm=noway.gif]

Just guessing, but the word another before hiatus is a clue.  As I said some here have been here MULTIPLE times, and under other nicks, and only thing that changes about this is the particular nick, the verbiage is almost exactly the same  from the SAME people, they just come back under another nick.  So, he was making a suggestion based on his perceived past experience with the OP.

No- we've just seen the original poster come onto collarme, get huffy about how things are, vent, leave, return with a new name and then repeat the process about 4 times now.

First of all, rumors to the effect that it means Survival of the Fattest are to be discounted out of hand.

How can it be a new name when there are over 2 thousands posts on it?

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Thoughts from a Sad Member (10/29/2006 9:31:46 PM)

Yeah and she hasn't always used pink font.

According to her post here, she's had 6 names.

And this might be a good reminder to her of how she started with her "bemoaning the state of the boards" cycle

Well of course the whole thing of it for me was that I initially read a different sense into the last word in the topic and dropped in expecting a thread from James, or Michael, or maybe TresWank.

Anyway I really don't see much of the kind of cattiness she was whining about around here. Do you?

I've had this name for exactly one year and two days, and I've got over 7000.  I have another name I had previous which has about 3000 posts on it.

Read the link I posted above, Candy/Fille/etc explains all the names she's had.

PS_ I didn't mean "new" as in "recent" I meant "new" as in "yet another incarnation of herself to repeat the same pattern"

Not a problem, smiles, that's why posts like this get all the awwwwwwwwwwwww's for the OP, and get all the sympathy, till you see the vicious cycle.  I have been known to be wrong at times, but I think ya saw 4 of us oldtimers here catch on, lol.  Gotta love the friggin color pink.

Edited to add: right, I do seem to remember that some nicks said pink but she didn't write in pink, and all kinds of other things, and yes she admits to 6, I remember pleasuresforhim so thats 7, but my brain is tired....and on that link you gave (kudos for taking over the reference links LA, you do an awesome job on that, grinz) on 5/27 said she felt a new nick coming on,,,,wonder what it will be and how long before it shows up??

I would have a really catty answer for that, but I decline....

edited to add, catty towards the OP not you......don't want to add to the viciousness of the boards, don't ya know...

Lordandmaster -> RE: Thoughts from a Sad Member (10/29/2006 9:37:16 PM)

Go fuck yourself, I see a lot of cattiness and if you can't respect what I see then you'd better not post in here.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Thoughts from a Sad Member (10/29/2006 9:39:45 PM)

Hmm I don't see much outright cattiness, but I certainly feel vibes and know that whatever you DO see is only a tenth of the immature jealous insecure drama actually occurring in the background.

But that's the nature of online forums in a world where adults don't act like adults.

marieToo -> RE: Thoughts from a Sad Member (10/29/2006 9:41:59 PM)

judgeing from one of the links that LA posted, she (pink fonted person) isn't trying to hide that she has several names.  She even listed them and is typing in her signature color and font.  I personally might take offense if someone was trying to hide their identity and come here and personally attack someone.  Until I knew that this was a poster I had read before, I couldnt find one single thing offensive, rude, or even whiney about her post.  She sounded very sincere, honest and genuinely saddened.  Now that I know she has other names, I would still have to say there was nothing offensive in her writing.   Seemed to me she went out of her way to make sure she wasnt coming off as offensive.  If this was not a poster with other nick names, I wonder if her post would have been repsonded to in a different tone.  Are her feelings, concerns and chosen subject matter invalid because she has several names?

No, they are invalid because on every name she makes posts like this (I posted a link to one such example) bemoaning the awful state of the boards...followed usually by getting involved in some sort of angst and annoyance, getting frustrated, leaving, and then returning to the boards...to repeat the cycle again.

When you keep doing the same thing, and then keep bemoaning that the state of the boards is so bad- you do lose a bit of your validity.  A broken record gets tuned out.
