Ok I have done needle play and knife play. Papercut play came up in another post. At first I took it as a joke but after thinking about it why not. Has anyone ever done this?

Not I. For me there is something aesthetically pleasing about holding a knife in my hand I don't think I'd get with a ream of paper ;)

But hey, why not?

Oh, perfect for Lazy Dom Syndrome. Sit back and make the slave do all your filing and you get some cutting play included without lifting a finger.

The risk, of course, is that when you cut with paper, it leaves behind fibers in the wound which is why it can hurt more than a cut with a razor blade.

Most of my paper cuts do come about accidently.

Actually creating a papercut anywhere else but on the fingertip in a deliberate manner would be just as sadistic TO the sadist. It's not easy (don't ask how I know this). A knife really does work better.

This is in the same category as hangnail play, pimple popping play (Daddy has a hard limit with that one), and stubbing toes play

I've, on many an occassion, managed to slip and give myself numerous papercuts. From reams of paper which leave up to 12 or more cuts in a row making said skin look like gills on a fish....to slashes from manila envelopes.

Screw normal kinds of torture....take a hint from the guys from Jackass.

This is why I find it hard to believe there are pure masochists out there - people who enjoy pain.

If they are truly of that persuasion, then they can be totally content by simply stubbing their toe on a rock all day - or indeed filing everything in the office to get paper cuts across the bottom of their nails.

As it is though, is it true that masochists require a sadist for the whole thing to work? Does this mean an office manager who requires filing to be done is a sadist?
