I agree with ladyalbatross.

It is also the rude people that normally speak first. Eg. Alot of movies have the bitchy pretty gals teasing the ugly gal who ends up becoming the school hottie. Well in this case its the obese people who tease the skinny people who end up either getting very defensive ( i.e bitchy ) or depressed and not return or become depressed and binge eat to be like them..

I would ask you what you know about the dynamics of female friendships and behavior in regard to weight loss and gain? Have you ever been a woman? Have you ever binge eaten? I do not think that women being catty has anything to do with unhealthy relationships with food.

I think you are basically making crap up in your head to bash fat women.. for what reason I have no clue, but seeng you are making all these wild assumptions about why women eat too much and how other fat women are to blame for this, I have to wonder where you get your information?

That’s right I know nothing. I just like to tease the obese people. I'm guessing by you and others thoughts I am someone who has never been teased and look hot. (I have not said im pretty, others have).

Well let’s say I was teased though most of primary school and allot of high school. Over speech impediment. So try going to school for over 12 years getting someone teasing you every 2nd day.

Then also try being very skinny on top of it and not being able to fight back. Also getting teased about being skinny, being called anorexic by everyone. I went to sort of like counselling but not. Where you talk about weight etc etc. That’s where I got all this information from. Once a month for twelve years you do learn something...

Now back onto the subject. My movies was just an e.g. A metaphor. I thought you and artpig would of had the intelligence to understand but I guess I was mistaken.  I said the bitchy pretty gals. Now don't you think if I said bitchy pretty gals id also be referring to the bitchy obese people?..

Being a girl is different than being a boy, I do not know many girls that are teased by other girls about being skinny in this country, not saying it does not happen, but what I am saying is that I am pretty darn sure it does not happen as much as obese girls being teased. I would also say that you are in another country (unless you are misrepresenting on your profile) , and are a different gender... so no you do not know what it is to be a young American woman who is skinny or fat. Men are picked on for being skinny more than women are

I am sorry you were teased, so was I because I had crooked teeth and my family was poor. I have a list of other things that I was picked on about, but those were the two top things. I think it is our submissive nature that made us the target, not our physical defects, but that is another thread.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why someone who had been ridiculed would turn around and do it to others... but that is your thing, and I am very doubtful I can change your mind about your belief structure... so Im done trying. If you like who you are, good for you.

I am a BBW I happen to be rather big but for the most part I carry my waight well I am not ashamed of who I am and i know that I do have a very pretty face if nothing els!!! I dont care if people show off what they have and I have never been one to put anyone down because I know how that feels. I think everyone is beatifull in some way we have to be then again I always try to find the good in people. So while I have no problem with people showing of what they got (hey go ahead shake what your momma gave ya) I do have a problem with those people thinking they are so much better then everyone els!! I dont pass judgments on others and I really dislike when they pass judgments on me. You will never hear me say anything about you beeing thin and showing your body off and in the same right I dont want to hear you saying things about me beeing heavy. No one is better then anyone els just because they can fit into a size 2.

Remeber the catty behavior... it goes both ways!!!

I agree julia that it is difficult to understand why...but then its not really that much different than what is shown in the cycle of child abuse where abused children have a higher propensity to grow up and become abusive adults.  Yes it can be changed... but it generally takes a great deal of understanding as to why it happens before the person can work on breaking the cycle to not perpetuate the chain of abuse.

Where did I tease all the obese people? I remember saying a comment id say to a certain group of obese people at a munch,..

I remember saying majoriety of obese people are their own fault due to non exercise.. Also giving stats to back up my comments.

But I do not remember straight out teasing them. Calling them pigs or calling them other terms.

I have not teased, I have said what al the health professionals are saying. Its due to laziness for the majority. That is not teasing, that is stateing facts.

Re-read my posts in that thread. You and everyone else will see I did not tease. Many people are afraid to post about comments about obese people as many people jump straight too.'your teasing them' like what happened to me.

Just from memory I believe it was along the lines of... Id give those obese people $5 to go to macca's. Read th eop post again and look at who I directed my post at. .

Also I do not tease anyone in real life. I am very down to earth and ver shy.. Hard to believe but its true...

A few months back, I was hosting a party, and this new young girl was brought into the mix.  It was 3 guys, 3 girls, and we had all been with each other, except the new girl.  She was a hot thin young thing, gorgeous, sweet.  She was also very naive.  The long and the short of it is, after she saw the dungeon, and got comfortable, she asked if we could dress up for the boys.  We were like hell yea, lets all do it!  So the three of us girls went upstairs, and started getting dressed up.  I put on my favorite domme outfit, my best girlfriend put on her cute white sexy outfit, and we fished out a school girl outfit for the new chick.  The whole time we were all having a great time laughing, and such.  We were praising and appreciating her legs and ass, and she was complimenting our racks, and she suddenly got this puzzled look on her face.  I asked her what was wrong.  She replied "I've never had women be nice to me when dressing up for our men before, they're always putting me down for having small breasts, and bony shoulders".  My g/f and I looked at each other, then looked at her and said "yeah, well all you'll get here is appreciation for what you bring to the table, as long as you're happy and willing to show it off for everyone".  She grinned, we grinned, and we all went downstairs to "unveil" the new girl LOL.

Maybe YOU have never been teased or judged for being "skinny" and from what I can see of you, you are not skinny.. but there are some in the USA who are very thin, bony, wear glasses and braces, are pre-pubecent and who ARE indeed picked on and ridiculed because of their frame.  Because YOU do not see it or acknowedge that it is a FACT does not mean it isn't happening.
People such as yourself remind me of grade-school teachers who turn a blind eye to the bullying that takes place so frequently in schools...believing that only a certain class or race are victims of discrimination.
You truly seem to be so very open-minded and empathetic.. and yet, you keep those blinders firmly in place.

Great story Demistress~! Wish there were more like it on these threads. We women need to stick together, not put each other down! I know one Dom I was dating was tickled when I complimented other women. I told him hey, why not? No matter what size, color a women is, if she looks fabulous let her know~! I for one can be very critical of myself.....and remembering my female essence, observing my sisters and their struggles is a way of acknowledging, we are here for each other~!
You go girls~!

It's so funny how (women especially) go on ando n about being PROUD of ourselves and not being doormats...and then the second someone actually makes a step and says "I am hot stuff and I don't like when non-hot stuff people are rude to me" that person gets shot down.  Such back stabbers...

There is a time and a place for everything.  When i'm surrounded by people that i know i'm prettier than, i temper myself.  They know, i know, and every man there knows.  So i dont strut, i dont point it out, i even down play it abit.  Why?  For the sake of their feelings.  Makes them feel more comfortable around me.  Maybe it sounds uppity - but it does make them feel better.  I get seen as a threat alot, and treated as such.  Eh, i down play myself alot generally too.  Baggy pants, oversized shirt, tennies.  Hell i can dress like a boy real easy.

When i'm out on "the town" with my Dom.  I've no problems.  I'll pull my crowds, i'll let the guys drool, i'll flirt with the girls, dance on the bar, let them take pictures.  I'll strut no problem.

There is a time and a place to be "hot".  Time and place to take the spotlight and a time in a place Not to take the spotlight.

Btw - when others are "rude" let them go for it.  Shows their ass, while you can sit back and grin.  Had one chick who was fugly try and take my man.  <grins>  She was rude, unpleasant, snotty and whatever.  I sat back, kept my eye on the girl, grinned a whole lot, tried to be friends with her <snicker> and watched her sink her own boat.  Not only was i prettier, but i came off as having a better attitude.  Not my fault that everyone despises her now

Two quick thoughts:

-- Obesity being, alas, an issue in my own life and family, I've read quite a bit of what the pros have written about it it. I can honestly say I've never seen the word "laziness." Unlike "inactivity," which is a simple, factual noun, "laziness" has a major undercurrent of moral condemnation. Inactivity can stem from any number of sources (illness, depression, schedule crunch, etc.) besides laziness, and the roots of obesity, I know all too well, can be enormously complicated.

-- Reading this thread and its predecessor, I often find myself remembering a bit of Boy Scouts widsom: Never judge a fellow human being until you've walked a mile in his or her shoes.

I find that a lot of people assume I have this amazing self-confidence, which I do as a Domme, but as a woman it's another story. Just because other people tell you you're beautiful doesn't mean you necessarily internalize it. I find I vaccilate (is that the word I'm looking for? Well, we'll go with it) between feelling good about myself, but being tired of the platitudes, and fretting over my 'problem areas'.

As to BBWs vs skinny chicks, I have a few friends I consider Cute Chubby Chicks (CCCs, feel free to borrow it ) and we all have our issues, but we all have our good points too.

Erm, I think I might just be rambling. Ignore the crazy girl in the corner... Nothing to see here, move along.

(Edited because I just read DeMistress's story - How sweet!)

mons,

I thank you for bringing this subject up again...i have been harrassed on and on and on again by a domme  who keep s telling me that I am vain and conceit4d....My reply to her is this... Im not conceited...Im convined!!!  I have after the years of feeling less than acceptable to myself....I have ebraced who I am...and i have 100%  accepted what i have to offer...it isnt just a physical thing it is an absolutely fully wholistic embodyment.  I am a goo dperson I am reasonably attractive...and es I had plastic surgery  but wat to know a secret  even with out the 15K of plastc suregery i had done...I was beautiful...i just had to realize it!!

and so   what is the big fuss  vanity isnt a true description  it is the phrase they use...it is an envy of those who have the  self confidence that we have       bascially nthey blame those of us who are emotionally comfortable with our jiggles and rolls for feeling out inner beauty!~
and that is my nickles worth  but you can have it for free!
have a great day
