if you had the chance to move to Hawaii- I mean in teh next 60 days, would you? heres some details. ild have to give up my dog. the bird if i keep him= ild have to put him thru the isolation period. ild have to give up my car. ild have to give up nearly everything i own. i had planned to move across state as my lease wont be renewed next time. it sure is a fun thought...

Well. Material possessions can always be replaced, experiences can't. This sounds like an AWESOME experience! Would be sad to leave the doggy behind though. What sort of situation would you be moving into though? Are you sure that it is a safe one where you have the power to be independant if necessary? (Not relying on other people to make sure you have a place to live, etc... unless they are people you implicitly trust.)

section 8 housing can be transferred. so ild be in disabled housing. have you seen how small those units are? i very much hate to move. it took many years to get where i am. i like plenty of sunlight and to be online. my living room is practically a sunroom. ild never be reliant on a man or room mate. too much to dela with....... one kicker is- 99% of what i own comes from thrift stores. i was thinking...ild take my computer and the small safe where i keep my meds and imp papers. i might just give all my photos away,

which island? is it for a love or bdsm? will you have a job when you get here? do you have support outside the person you would be moving for? can you give your dog to a friend for several months? have you always dreamed of Hawaii? do you enjoy culture activity's like plays and clubs and city life? are you comfortable with drastic changes? what is your sign? was your life satisfying and nurturing where you are?

Me personally? Hell yes I'd go for it! But then again, I love experiencing new things. And really.. its Hawaii.. how much time would you plan to spend indoors anyway? grin It can be difficult to drop all the accumulations and trapping of life that we gather around ourselves. No doubt about it. You just have to weigh weather the result is worth the cost.

i would defiately go.......it is my dream to retire to the beach actually...i have a condo sized tent and well i just want to move there ...i have camped for weeks on end in my condo and i know how to live and enjoy nature.....invite me?? Ill go in a heart beat...oh but that sright i cant got for another 10 years i have kids..ratz!!

It depends upon the situation as to wether or not I would move. The only way I would is if someone was going to spend alot of $$ to get all my furry babies there, make sure they have plenty of room......with the furry babies I have we are talking serious dollars. In addition I would have to be able to afford alot of trips back here and to pay for the people here to fly to me. ORRRR, the person that wants me to move, better want to move a few other people also. Hawaii is a very expensive place from what I saw when I was there. I cannot imagine being able to own a small farm for all my furry babies there, like I have here.

not that i am aware Ron..... but if he did come here he would make a new total 17 kinksters on the island...whooo hooo......one thing i was going to mention if he ever comes back to this thread.....there are only 2 active kinksters at any given munch (held at the food court of the local mall) and no public dungeons...

okay so if the condo sized tent gets put up on the north shore then you will have a dungeon...and well i cannot think of a better place to have an outside play space!!!

I still remember it vividly. Would love to live there If you have the chance Go for it! Sometimes a Huge change is a very good thing.

I would do it in a second----I spent 9 days on maui last july and I LOVED it. I didnt want to come home. Really expensive there though, might be a small problem.
