Topic: In a recent discussion the follow question came up - Any input from personal experiences, friends or thoughts would be welcome. Scenario; 2.5 hour distance - Ability to meet approx. 2-5x a month Most for overnight stays. When having a power exchange from a distance - The day to day physical presence is not possible, what are some of the things that fulfill a Dom's motive for training, disciplining and controlling OTHER THAN the mere satisfaction of the control or sexual rewards. Specifically what services can be preformed by the sub for her Dom to help make the exchange less one sided.

Sir and I are in this type of situation at this time. I am currently caring for my mother who was critically ill and has been having a very hard, slow recovery. There is no one else that can do this for her so I must stay here with her now. Sir is about 175 miles away and due to His employment and school He can not relocate here. We get together about 3 times a month for 3 to 5 days at a time. We have contact with each other by phone at least twice a day, at least an hour each time. There are many things that He requires of me each day. As for specific services that I do for Him to equal the exchange, this is difficult as when we are together He wants me to be with Him at every moment. I do try to prepare as many of His meals as I can and package them so that it requires very little effort on His part to have a decent meal on the table when I am not there. I seal many of them in those vacuum bags so that he can simply take them and microwave them or put them in boiling water.....and Wallah!!!....dinner! Just one suggestion.

2 1/2 hour drive, see each other every other weekend. Between times there is a lot of phone and IM conversation. There are a lot of little things that he asks me to do, they get done. Currently i am keeping a journal to keep track. If i don't do something that's been asked or demanded, the punishment is twofold. First, i know i haven't obeyed and feel bad, which is bad ennough when i have to confess and hear the censure in his voice. Second, i know that there will be a number of switches when we do see each other next. Those things alone are enough to keep me in line.

You mention Lots of things.. Can you give more examples of things he has you do that Service him. Help him in some way.

sure. Sometimes i'm asked to post something in creative writings by a certain deadline. Some threads he likes me to read and respond to, or at least be able to discuss. I'm looking for more local BDSM events so we can particiapte when he visits here. Recently i've been told i better start getting my butt to the gym. Hope that was more the answer you were looking for.

Easier or whatever word you want to tack on there. ANYTHING. Do they run a business, need someone to type stuff up for them? As someone said, cooking meals. How about cleaning the house when you are around. Yard work? Before Doug and I could be together all of the time I used to take his laundry with me, do it all for him. Then return it the next week when I saw him. Is there housework to do when you are there? What if you got everything done ahead of time? Then nothing to do but have quality time. I realize most of my idea's are geared towards seeing the dominant on a regular basis. Although, I do see mine all of the time. So, naturally those are coming off the top of my head without much thought.
