Hello all! I am totally excited about this new lifestyle. I am definitely dominant, but am totally new at this. Any fellow veterans willing to "teach" a dominant how to approach this? A diachotomy, it sounds:) But, I already know what role I want to be in, just learning the basics I suppose...even the jargon. Hope to hear from you!

One thing Id definately suggest.  Get a good idea of what you want to do before you go looking for someone.  Do you want a masochist?  Do you want someone looking for bedroom play? More than that?
Theres a lot to figure out when you start looking for a partner, in order to make sure you find someone worth your time.
