Status: offline 		I know this is going to make me sound stupid, but I don't know alot about cams. I recently had a dom who wanted me to be in a certain position when I greeted him on cam and was very disappointed in me for not following his specific instruction. We got into a big fight because he wanted to punish me first before letting me explain and I ended up losing him. The problem is, the only way I know how to turn on my cam and see the screen so I can position the cam and myself is by clicking on the webcam icon on yahoo messenger, which invites the dom to view me. Unfortunately, the dom started viewing before I had time to get into position. Is there a way for a sub to turn on her cam and view her own screen before inviting her dom to view? I don't want to disappoint future doms.

Are you truly disappointed that you weren't able to fulfill the wank fantasies of some Net geek dom?  Losing him was a bad thing?  Honestly, I think it would definitely be a good idea "to disappoint future doms" by forgetting the whole cam idea.  The less wank food out there, the less Net geek doms there'll be - think about it....

1. In the MAIN window of messenger (The one that you use to login and not the window u use to chat with people)
Messenger > My Webcam and your webcam will start and you can adjust it to view....and then later open the messenger window with the person whom u wish to chat and press "webcam" button now....

Hope you understand what I meant. If you wish to have clarifications write in private cuz I do NOT visit forums often (new to site and so i am exploring the site)

Actually , I am going to go out on a limb and guess here. I would have to say that MOST reserve cam sessions for after having met in person and establishing a 'real' relationship. That is not to say that there are not those who use it because of distance, and solely because of that, before actually meeting each other. Those who fall into this category are few and far between though ( and I know that there are several posters on this board who fall into this wonderful category )

Master lives in a different state, and yet he never requested that I turn on my cam for him. Not once ever.

I suppose it depends what the individual seeks but I'd like to think "cam doms" are a minority.  It's just another form of abuse, and of especially abusing a naive fem/sub's inexperience.  But for all I know you might be an exhibitionist anyway....  And if you're not, you really orta reconsider web camming for a stranger's entertainment.
 
As for training, I personally would never waste such mutually enjoyable actions on anything but r/l and of being in the same room together.
 
But you're right, this isn't what you asked here and (fortunately) I'm unable to help with setting up web cams - so I'll leave my opinions at that....  But you can still think about it anyway! ;-)

Status: offline 		Ok im nnot advocatieng cams I hate them as well as online Domination but that wasnt what was asked so Ill help because no matter what I say she will do as she pleases (Oh and to answer me and Master dont use cam inbetween but I would if he wanted to) turn on the cam open an Im to yourself and invite yourself youll get 2 windows of your cam opend just close one. then focus how you want then invite the Dom. Simple LOL

Status: offline 		If he's not willing to train you in the mechanics (or electronics in this case) in order to be able to do what he wants correctly, he's not much of a trainer. Trainers need to have patience and be open to communication. A lack of knowledge is different than willful disobedience.

Status: offline 		That's what I tried to tell him. I was doing my best to please him while trying to heal from a ruptured disk in my lower back (yes, he knew that) and nothing I did was good enough. I'm glad somebody told me how to solve the cam issue so I don't disappoint another master.

Status: offline 		Honestly, I think someone who was that concerned about your presenting yourself on cam in a certain position right off and who could be lost that simply is a problem in and of itself.  Cam servie is al wel and good, however I know personally, I would be more upset if my directions were followed to a t, but becasue the sub was so concerned with doing as i said to greet me, they were unable to focus the camera properly to show me. 
It is his responsability t make sure you are capable of doing what is ask, and his viewing you before you were ready impies he was TRYING to catch you unprepared and find problems.  In the future, however, if you want to serve on ca, I would make sure to ask as many questions as you are allowed to, including how to start teh cam to his liking, and how long you have to prepare yourself after the feed is started if you have t be able to click the window to do so.

sweety if you are willing to give in to such silly things as cams and other wanker feed then you will attract such scum that are looking to pray on subs like you because you make it easy on them. Hon you may be a sub but since when does the title sub mean easy. Make a Dom work for you submition any Dom worth his waight in piss will try much harder then giveing orders on a webcam!!

Believe me from exerience if he wants to view you on cam with any kind of set position and has no patience he is a forget it.  I have dealt with so many of these wanna be it is not funny.  There are plenty of sharks in the sea girl wait for a great white not a sand shark.  Tell them your cam is broke, or your friend borrowed it.

If *nothing you did was good enough* in a situation like that, what on earth would he have been like with anything significant?

There are far bigger, more important things to consider when talking about *disappointing* a potential *master*.
