So Foley, the kiddy diddling congressman, rates one thread on this forum. Kerry gets three just for one ill advised comment.

How much banging does this drum need?

When you got nothing else and your team is down you will indeed make mountains out of mole hills... it smacks of desperation doesn't it?

LotusSong -> RE: Bad kerry (11/4/2006 8:24:17 AM)

I try not to take sides seeing that the democrats have their share of rats, even if they have been exterminating some of them lately, but still the party in power is the one that needs to take the blame...

So Foley, the kiddy diddling congressman,

Do you have any proof that Foley was, like Democrat congressman Stubbs, diddling kids?

Of course you don't.  It was merely a drive-by smear on your part--which seems to be a common tactic by Democrats.  Perhaps it is because they really have little to offer on the issues...

We've taken notes from the other side.

Foley admitted to having inappropriate contact with minors... now we can wait and see if he ever literally "diddled" them, but usually when one has been caught propositioning unmentionables they have done other things as well. The intent is seemingly there.

Foley sent inappropriate emails/IMs but he did not have sex with this minor.  He promptly resigned.  That's why I called that person out on their smear.  Stubbs did have sex with an underage page, but when he died - during the Foley scandal - the Old Media lauded him as one  of the first gay Congressmen who was open about his lifestyle.  Why the double standard?

What are the Democrat positions on important issues?

Iraq
Bush:  We might have to reassess some tactics but we're staying the course!

Dems:  1)  We must bring our troops home now or,  2)  we must stay the course, or 3)  we must leave Iraq but stay in hospitable Arab nations in the area, or  4)  we must redeploy to Okinawa (Murtha's bizarre strategy), or 5)  we  must leave Iraq and invade nuclear-powered Pakistan to get Osama bin Laden, because if we kill OBL, all the terrorists worldwide will immediately drop their arms and go get jobs selling Amway.

Taxes
Bush:  Lower taxes have given us a robust economy and put more of your money in your pocket.  The Democrats will raise taxes!

Dems:  *crickets chirping*

Pete, he always brings it on himself because he can't S.T.F.U.!
If it's not him it's one of the Kennedys f-ing up every six months or so.
I just can't figure out why the mental midgets in Massachusetts keep voting for them.

Hello A/all

One more time.

That in and of itself is a criminal act.

In Texas (just to pull a state out of my hat) the penal code violation is...

Texas Penal Code ยง21.01 (a)(3).

This offense is a Class C misdemeanor

quote:

That's why I called that person out on their smear.  Stubbs did have sex with an underage page,

That is also a criminal act.

PENAL CODE. CHAPTER 43. PUBLIC INDECENCY. SUBCHAPTER A. PROSTITUTION ... taken as a whole: (A) appeals to the prurient interest of a minor, in sex, nudity, ...

quote:

but when he died - during the Foley scandal - the Old Media lauded him as one  of the first gay Congressmen who was open about his lifestyle.  Why the double standard?

The double standard is that the Republican party are hiding their pedophiles (which would be illegally having sex with minors) behind the excuse that their congressmen are gay.

Homosexuality and pedophilia are two entirely different things.

Regardless of whether homosexuality is ingrained or a choice is one issue, but propositioning or making sexual advances at or having sex with a minor child of either gender is a criminal act.

You, as well as all the other apologists for poor, downtrodden, misunderstood Republican pedophile Congressmen everywhere, are fighting a losing, obtuse, and illiterate battle defending them.

As well as smearing homosexuals by associating being gay with pedophilia.

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.
