Anybody having trouble with gmail?
I can sign on and see mail, but can't get the mail to load...just a blank screen.
I've attempted to access through ie and through aol.  Same results since this morning.
Is it the site or my laptop?  UGH.  Annoyed here.

Yup - gmail is working fine for me - I'm afraid it's your laptop.  Then again, I'm using Firefox - perhaps the problem is browser-specific?

I don't know anything about Gmail, but I know that Yahoo mail accounts can lock up unpredictably from time to time (and it doesn't matter how you try to access them).  Try your mail in an hour or two.  If it's still not working, then there might really be something wrong.

This sucks...I'm now realizing that I couldn't access my mail last night either.
And my desktop toolbars have changed.  Virus?

Nope.  You're sitting at your neighbour's computer.

Sounds more like spyware than a virus.  Make sure you have the latest virus definitions and run a full virus scan, but I doubt that's the problem.

But there might be more to the problem.  Could someone have installed something deliberately nasty onto your computer?  Spyware might explain why your toolbars are fucked up, but it wouldn't so easily explain why you're unable to access a specific site like Gmail.

I'm running a spyware scan right now, then I'll do a virus scan.
Nope..no chance of anything being installed.
Gonna back up some pics that are loaded just to be on the safe side.

Well I'm only able to read email under their basic html setting.
Hoping it's just a glitch.  But at least I can read my mail now.
