I am just looking for the input of others who have male slaves/subs that they have collared...what did you give him as his public collar?

Mine wears his collar from eternity collars, though I am thinking of getting him a necklace with a dogtag to wear in public. He has to go thru the metal detectors at his work and he's had to take it off a few times which he really does not like doing. So my thinking is with the necklace he shouldnt have a problem. ~Lashra

I use collars from the pet store, choke chains, leather collars, etc, what ever catches my fancy. My slaves either wear them or get their asses beat, it isn't up to them at all. Can someone tell me how to get the vanilla logo off of my comment?

My two most recent male long terms who were collared have worked in law enforcement. As such, they cannot WEAR anything around their neck that could not break away should they get into a scuffle. Both of them were pierced -- one a frenum, the other, a guiche. When we did scene events, they had a formal collar -- RJ's was leather, and LT2's is steel.

My slave as well works in a job environment in which he couldn't wear anything around his neck.... I'm thinking bracelet then. Opinions on leather bracelet versions of collars, versus the heavy chain that "locks"? ( http://www.bondagecollars.com/sdcc.htm )

I'll be making mine a custom permanent chainmail bracelet. Will be a small hassle at airports but he'll get over it. Or I'll take it off before he leaves and replace it with one of those plastic airport proof chastity cages. If anyone is looking for chainmail for themselves, contact me, my website will be up soon.

That depends on what you mean by public collar and the situation. I have had male slaves in formal steel collars, posture collars, as well as simple dog tags,ID bracelet, or a simple silver ring with the word slave or submissive engraved upon it.

i wore leather dog collars around my ankles 24/7 for quite some time. i do not think that leather is a suitable material for true 24/7 wear, because it will deteriorate, absorb odors, etc. Granted, i never treated mine with anything, so you may have more success with various leather conditioners, but what it comes down to is that leather isn't going to like daily showers very much. i wear an Axmar stainless collar (distributed in the States by Mr. S) 24/7, and it has worked out very well for me. i've been through a half-dozen metal detectors, from the county courthouse to Heathrow and JFK airports, without setting them off. Which is a little scary if you think about it, but there you go. It does not show under a collared shirt & tie, and will even stay under a snug T-shirt neck most of the time. i believe they make bracelets and anklets as well. Not cheap, but a nice level of finish, and it's held up very well over the past 3 years. It's subtle and masculine. The downside is that i don't think it can be really used for play, and can get in the way of posture collars, stocks, etc. ...dave
