... but your profile says you're dominant... what do you care if you're topping a pro-domme or if she's topping you? And, btw, I have been, and know many sex workers. Some vanilla, some dommes, and every one of them has turned down business they didn't think they'd have a good time taking. If I got a creepy vibe off of someone--and creepy vibes may include a dominant male who is only paying so that he can "objectify" a domme--I'd send him home, with his money, and tell him I simply didn't feel right about it.

You can get paid to play, and play by your rules only, with only the clients you like. Bad attitudes can keep their $300, and I can keep my standards. Simple as that.

You know Chatt, I own a multi-national company in Europe; we provide transport services. Thing is, if someone wants us to transport for them, then we go through a certain process to decide if we want to transport for them;
1) who is paying?
2) can they pay? what sort of customer are they?
3) do we want our truck empty where they want us to deliver their goods? do we want to transport that kind of goods?
4) is the price right?
and so on

In short, we dont just form contracts with anyone who asks. And we are in one of the most competitive industries there is - supply outstrips demand and every piece of business counts. The price has to be right of course, but we dont work with just anyone just because they promise a large payment - it has to be someone who is reliable, professional and whose business suits us.

How much more choosy then, one can be, when one is in a profession where demand exceeds supply? This is where your point falls down. Pro-dommes (and I mean pro-dommes, not hookers in thigh highs with a riding crop shoved in them), are in short supply, compared to the demand, and so they can choose who to accept as a client with even greater discernment than we in the transport industry. Guys seeking pro-domme services will accept almost any limitation on their desires and pay whatever is asked for, simply for the opportunity to get something of what they want. Thus, although they are the payer, they are far from being in control of the transaction. (if that was your point).

And by the way, please do leave off insulting everyone in sight. Its just juvenile.

i have a friend who is a ProDomme and one of her clients mentioned this very theory to her at the begining of their session. She made him sit in the corner thinking about that concept for the entire 2 hours of his session and then sent him home to think about it some more. He still paid his money, but somehow, i don't think he was in control of the situation.

And yes, he came back for more.

I pretty much have to agree. Both parties have a certain amount of control? My first and only session with a pro went good. She had the option to not take me as a client after first few emails. She then set up a lunch meeting so we could get some face to face talk. I had a little bit of control in explaining some of the fantasies/fetishes I'd like to experience? A few days later she emailed and accepted me as a client and told me some of the things she had planned for the session. When she mentioned electricity....I said "no-way". She said "You WILL do electricity!" but reassured me that I could bail at any time with a safe word. Shakin like a dog shittin razorblades I show up for the session. I found a couple of hard limits for myself....electricity is one of em...lol. Anyways...the session was great overall. I think we both had some control....I had the money and she worked the session around some of my kinks but she still remained the Domme. Actually....once they have you gagged and shackled.....she can do pretty much whatever she decides? I think the control is split.

I also believe that both parties have a certain amount of control. Who has more control would probably depend upon the individuals involved and the particular circumstances. The questions seems quite broad.

Then there is perspective. What if a person does exactly what I want and responds to every action I make precisely how I want them too respond, but yet in their mind every action I made was exactly what they wanted and I seemed to play to their whims. We both seemed to control the situation. The eye of the beholder is very important.

I believe a person has some control in all situations. A person is never completely powerless. Even a prisoner makes up his mind to what his mindset is. This may be a bit idealistic, but there have been cases of prisoners holding on to their hope, while it was the prisons desire to crush this hope and perhpas even convert the captive to the side of the captor. Death does not neccesarily mean victory or control for the captor.

Of course what difference does it make in the situation you ask? Both seem to get what they want whether it be finances or control (or topping from the bottom or whatever).

Also, if you are a dominant male why do you ask? Are you trying to say that perhaps pro dommes are merely being dominated and maybe this is a way you'd like to dominate.

Again perspective plays a big part. Perhaps you could argue whether a sub that has been accepted by a Dominant has really dominated the sub because the sub wanted to be accepted by the Dom. Endless arguing on topics is possible.

It seems your question is like who came first: the chicken or the egg, while I feel the more important question is what tastes better. But then again one could be vegan.

Ummmm actually you are never in complete control.you give a list of things you like.
We pick out the ones WE like...and thats what you get.
And BTW this "bottom feeder" thinks you should stand corrected.
Because apparently to Me anyway...you just dont get it.
