Now, I've read Machiavelli, I've looked into all the conspiracy theories (most I have a hard time with) but just today (I'm a reforming Republican) there was a story in the paper regards a 6 month free pass from some employment tax. It would save my business a tremendous lot.

Like I said, I've looked in to a few conspiracy theories...most are (IMHO) just that...theories.

But, our Governor is a Democrat. Wishing, I'm sure, for a Democratic victory.

How many of you think there might just be a (smidge of a) connection there?

(I'm just trying to be open minded here).

Hello A/all,

There is a subtle symmetry to California having the Governator as governor.

A formerly moderate Republican who tried and failed to enact repressive legislation designed to kill unions, squelch workers rights, trash the environment, etc.

The symmetry is that he is a point man for the Republican assault on the people of the United States, in charge of a progressive-minded state that wont let him actually do anything.

I am going to vote for the Peter Camejo, Green candidate for governor. I dont care much for Phil Angelides, and the Governator is a shoe-in for another 4 years no matter who I vote for.

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.
