My suggestion, taken from a friend of mine who was trying to train himself with chastity and was scared to death to trust someone else with the key.
Use ice. Put the key into an ice cube, and use the melting of the ice as your time control.  AS you move forward and want to increase the timebetween masturbation, just increase the size of the ice cube you freeze they key into.  The bigger the piece of ice, the longer the thaw and the longer you wait.
Granted, there are ways to cheat and get around this, but I have seen it used successfully for boys with ny Mistress to keep them in check.

I do know that using wil power alone is very difficult. My boy controls himself, and is only allowed to masturbate when he gets permission. He has requested a chastity device of some sort, becaue he admitted to me that it is very difficult on him sometimes. I wouldn't stop a guy from masterbating...If he can't stop himself, if he is that hung up on handling it himself who am I to say otherwise. I had one that masterbated so much that it was the only way he could get a hardon. Needless to say... that didn't last long. Just something to think about... you know? Women are a strange bunch... we like to think we're more important and sexier then your right hand. Yes, I've found this to be a highly effective method as well.

This is going to go against the rest of the group here, but seriously, you're only 20. If you stop, you might explode. ;)

I'd say, get your licks in now while you can, because when you're 50, you might not be able to and you don't have a Mistress right now anyway.

There are a lot of things besides masturbation which can effect your girth and firmness.. weather, stress, drugs/alcohol, sleeping patterns. I wouldn't assume it's related to self-gratification. If you're really concerned about it see a doctor, but hell, at your age, it's completely normal to masturbate a lot.

It is wise for you to learn some self-control now, before  finding a Mistress. Because if you have no control, how can you give it to someone else.  No amount of directions or implements are going to control you if you can't do it on your own...there will always be a way around them.  As many have said, you can use chastity devices if you think that will help..but even those are not 100% effective to the really motivated.  The first and most imporant level of control, has to begin and end, in your head.  It is a question of will-power. If you truly don't wish to participate in any given activity any longer..then you find ways to distract yourself and occupy  yourself until such time as you get over the habit.
