i think i'm definitely getting a good idea of what abrasion play is, and i'm realizing that it is one of the things that i actually have quite a bit of experience in, and that i really enjoy. i just never heard the term before. i highly enjoy scratching, deep scratching especially. Scratchy rope, too. And i have a brush that's made for dogs that has metal bristles, and does much the same thing (probably) as a bbq brush or the such. And i think abrasive play is really good for me emotionally, because in the past i have si'd, and most of the time i did it with my nails, so allowing someone else to do something that gives the same feeling, but is a lot safer for me (doesn't cause the permanent scarring that i now have all over my arms and on my legs a little), does help. When i was with my former Master, he would use nails, hard bristles, and vampire gloves on me, and i never si'd when i was with Him, but when our relationship ended, i returned to it...can this kind of thing be a fetish? It makes me feel better about myself, and sometimes i just feel that i really -need- it, and will do it to myself because it feels good for me, but it's not always so much sexual as just a relaxation...fetishes are sexual, no? i thank all for their commentary so far, and think i'm really understanding what abrasion is now. :) damia the Kat

Smiles sweetly at kyra...but needles are so much fun. I finally got to try then just last friday night. OMG what an awesome experience I was still flying the next night. I should have pics later in the week. I will share then if I can figure out how to do it...if not I will gladly e-mail them to you on the other side. And of coarse they will be posted in my alt. album. And I defiantly hope you can manage next Apr...if not I am sure we can figure something out I seam to have a lot more freedom these days...lol. damia...I almost forgot about the wire pet brush...that is an awesome feeling to...not sure if it would be nearly as intense as the BBQ brush as the bristles are not as stiff. aurora

Abrasion play is the use of things which have different textures to produce a wide range of feelings. Things like differnt grades of sand paper.

ownedgirlie aren't wartenburg wheels so much fun?...espically if the next day is a hot summer one and you have to be out and the perspiration running down you back gets into the pin pricks and it stings oh so nice. Or how about knife play then alcohol sprayed into the fresh scratches...mmmmmm. aurora

mmmmm, achohol sprayed on a fresh cutting yummy for an even nice feel a good rub down with hand sanitizer after the cutting is all finished. i just love the sensation of those...... makes dealing with the sensation of the knife(yucky) easier. knight's alandra

Smiles...I have only done some very light knife play so far, just surface scratches but I so love the feel of it not sure which is more yummy the feel of the knife or the alcohol. But I am very much looking forward to doing much more intense cutting..it is just a matter of the right opportunity presenting itself. aurora

Knife play sends me over the top every time. But it isn't alcohol he uses to cause such stinging afterwards, lol.

for me, the alcohol helps me drift deeper and makes me give a very relaxing purr. hand sanitizer ruibbed into the scratches or cuttings provides for me a nice warm caress. eg now the feel of the knife cutting or any type of deep scratching(abrasion) has me wanting to come out swinging and swearing, it is one of the sensations that i really really dislike.... and i am fairly vocal in my dislike of it. though i find i can handle being cut with a scapel easier then with a knife.... i am looking forward to when my Lord does the large cutting on my back with the scapel grins Knight's alandra
