Well i was at home playing a game of Othello (Reversi) with my Protector and companion tonight when after the second sound trouncing by me, he developed a rather ingenious twist to the game.
For those of Y/ou unfamiliar with the dynamics of the game, it is a sectioned board with 64 spaces and 64 pieces of the game sided in white or black. The object of which is to have the board sport one color over the other. The first game was somewhat one sided but the second...well, it left a total of about 5 pieces to his name.
Feeling high on victory, i asked permission to display the results to my family and that is apparently when his inventive side sprang up because he declared a new twist as a reward for my skillful playing. Namely a swat with the ruler for every game piece there was should i win and a stroke of the evil stick for every game piece with his color left remaining on the board.
Then we promptly celebrated by putting the new rule into play.
^_^ i like winning.
Does anyone else have a similar twist to their favorite game?
