Ladies,

I've been in the lifestyle for a while but have not gone Pro. I am now in a position where I would like to go Pro but am unsure as to how to really get started.

1. Is it all that difficult transitioning from private to professional
2. Are there any specific things to watch for
3. Actually....if anyone can just point me in the right direction, I can reseach it on my own. I don't wish to take up too much board space or precious time from you Dommes.

panthergoddess,

Since I live in NYC, it's legit.
Make sure your state allows you to practice this activity to take tribute.
You sould be fine to be a pro as you have experience doing this (I mean, in terms of skills).

So, just this is my two cents;

1 & 2. A: Clients - they bring their own fantasies to you. You will have to accomodate their needs.
It's a challenge. You do for their wish at the same time you CONTROL them to introduce your LIKINGS/your way of doing it.

Some clients who used to a paid session, are manipulative enough to CONTROL YOU by taking advantage of "client right".
They paid to get a service they asked for. Some of them are not really submissives/slaves although they claim to be.
Funny enough, some of them are not even sure what they initially asked for that they even liked. In the course of session, you have to be flexible to change or lead them to their satisfaction without losing your control.

3: Check out any dungeon if there is in GA (where you live, right?).
I recommend to start working there first before going on your own.
You will learn how to operate. It is because of the above reason. People come for a paid session are not always "real" sub/slave mind set. They are also in the course of discovery that you cannot take anything for granted.

They always say they know about this and that and they like this and that, so you take it for granted.
Then later they complained it wasn't what they wanted, etc.

When we (at our dungeon) have a new client, we have "consultation" to have them fill out BDSM check list regarding their knowledge, their health concerns, the degree of pain endurance, and other remarks.
Then we even recommend which type of mistress would be good for a certain type of client.

I'm a sensual type - never be a sadistic one (well, as a pro I have to be sometimes, but just personally I'm not ).
So, my clients are novice to regular ones who preffer my style as well as come for my speciality.

Needless to say, but, Know your speciality, know yourself (sensual/sadistic etc), know your mind capacity how much you could accept this as a business......

Hope this will help.......

A pro Mistress in NYC

I am doing this part-time. I have more control this way since I still screen applicants in exactly the same way I would a sub who is approaching me to be my lifestyle sub. The tribute is of less importance to me than the quality of the sub I am taking into session. So I will bypass subs who are not really subs. My specialty is hypnosis and I am that boot camp-drill-sargeant-from-hell-sadist that will toss sensual in at odd moments because I enjoy tossing subs off balance, and I've found that being able to state a 'specialty' has helped significantly.

This is sort of a 'go slow' approach that I am using - because I am well aware that there are some very big differences in the levels and degrees of things when you are dealing with lifestyle as opposed to pro-sessions. But I have been doing very well with it.

I am a part-time Pro, also. As a part time, I can afford to be choosy and I am. I do not allow any client to dictate to Me. They can share their fantasies and interests. In fact they are required to while they pay to take Me to dinner. No problem. But they do not dictate the dynamics of a session. I also make sure that what they desire are fantasies that are fun for Me. I also have a strict "No Sex" policy. Define that however you wish, and you can make your own decision regarding something like that. If you would like to privately email Me, I will be happy to share a few other things I incorporate to ensure safety.
Good luck.

Hahahahah!
I know it might sound funny
but it is quite true that your
best freind while running
a Dungeon is the cops.....
You will want to quickly
gain a reputation for NOT
being into the sex trade
and having the cops know
and see what you do and
how you do it and that it
does NOT involve sex for
money goes a LONGGGG
way in securing your future
as a Pro Domme not to mention
keeping all the kooks and bible
pushers away from Your business
and protecting Your self. The
most kinkiest Doms I know are
officers...............................JMPO
