ORIGINAL: fyreredsub she and one of her chains sisters will be marked she is excited about the double-brand ceremony Dearest fyreredsub, I am very, very excited for the two of you as well. *hugs* I was branded six months ago when my Master collared me. It was more like strike branding although it had a curve in it. My Master was trained and has branded others before He branded me. I must admit that I was nervous when I knew it was going to occur, but it was nothing like what I had imagined. It really didn't hurt anything like I thought, more like a stinging than a burning, not worse than a serious kiss of my Master's whip. And then it was over. I think it also depends on how deep the brand is applied. Some brands, like mine, are like a sear. They do not get bubbly and raw and infected, not if you keep a thin layer of something like Neosporin on it for a couple of days. The worst thing, in my opinion, is the itch as it heals. But it isn't bad. I have written posts before as well as many other members here, and I will try to get those links for you as they are very insightful. I am going to be branded again once my Master gives me my slave name. It will be that initial. I am not nervous about it at all this time. It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful day. I am thrilled for you and your slave sister. I would take the advice of those who have been branded or who are trained and who brand , as those who are not or who do not may never really understand what is involved in the entire process and what a truly intimate moment it is. I know that I never "got it" until it was me... and there's no disrespect intended in my comment whatsoever. I also understand in being marked with a tattoo. I have a tattoo that I got (as a surprise for my Master) before I was collared when I realized that this lifestyle was one that I wanted to share with Him. It is in my profile pics if you want to look at it. I will try to post a pic of my new brand once He does it, (which will hopefully be soon!) *smiles* *edited for clarity, I hope*
