Bill Clinton on what the Republicans say about Democrats:

"You have to vote for us because our opponents are no good, and because they'll tax you into the poorhouse, and on the way to the poorhouse you'll meet a terrorist on every street corner, and when you try to run away from the terrorists you'll trip over an illegal immigrant. Isn't that their thing? That's what they're saying."

And while you are on your hands and knees, trying to get up, you'll be sodomised by a gay married couple.

OHhhhhhhhh, I saw this on the news this morning and laughed so loud that I was worried that I'd awoken the house. I am almost entirely apolitical but geez ... you have to give the man his due for being funny. (I did not care for his politics when he was in office.)

That's most of it in a nutshell.

Avoid your share of the responsibility for being part of a civilized society, check.
Be afraid of Joe Terrorist, because death is all around you, check.

However, I still say neither side is going to do anything about the Illegal Immigrant problem in this country.

*sigh* Because the democrats NEVER campaign by using fear of the Republicans!

The country is getting ever more ridiculous.  I could not stomache voting for either a democlin OR a republicrat.  They are both merely interested in stealing your money - one in the name of taxes for national security, the other in the name of taxes for social reform (and everyone gets their cut along the way).

So ... I went, I voted.  I feel a little dirty from the experience.  But I voted libertarian - so I feel a little better.

Social liberal, economic conservative.  I don't care if you want to marry a pineapple, so long as I don't have to pay for it, or go to the pride rally.

Well Bill Clinton's right about tripping over illegal aliens.
They have to go.
Got back from voting a while ago.
I voted for all Independants and where there was none running voted for neither Repub nor Dem. Just passed them over.

Good on you popeye!  I did the same thing over here.  Normally I will write in someone if no independent is running, but today I just couldn't stomache it.  So I voted independent where I could and passed the rest.

I always thought that the flood of illegal immigrants was karmic revenge for usurping Texas from Mexico way back when.

Of course, when white America takes something away from another country, it's COURAGEOUS.  LONG LIVE "MANIFEST DESTINY".

Here's the MF facts (handed to you by a reforming, lifelong Republican):

1)   Bill Clinton didn't break anything (terribly) valuable during his 8 year term.

2)   He did, in fact, preside over (and during) the longest peacetime economic expansion in recorded US history (it was, by the way, buffeted by a singularly large {in fact, the largest in US history} tax increase {by Bush, the Senior}, just prior to Clinton taking office and of course, the follow-on tech frenzy which pretty much turned the US Mints' printing presses on overdrive for about 6 years).

3)   He was a lying sack of shit.

4)   Had you been in his position...wouldn't you have lied your fucking ass off too?  (And by the way...if my future wife just read that...I was kidding honey...honest...no really, I'm serious).

5)   He was a very smart, lying sack of shit.

6)   Yeah, the world was different then but...none of this shit happened when he was running this coffee stand.

7)   I think Clinton is a piece of shit.  I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw this web site.  Definitely one of the smartest dudes we've ever had in office (of course, that's just my opinion).  I'm really fucking glad he's gone.

(I sure wish he'd come back).

I believe in 2004 they were interviewing a person in Ohio and he maybe summed up what many people stuck in the middle of the political spectrum thought when it came to Bush and Clinton.

Basically he said I would trust Bush with my daughter but not the country and trust Clinton with the country but not his daughter.

In the end though he was a waste of incredible talent. Brains and charisma contolled by his penis and wanting to be liked by everyone.

Honestly, I don't care very much one way or the other with anything he did with any interns in the oval office.

What had me worried was when there were allegations of selling military secrets to the Chinese for campaign contributions.  That tends to make me not trust a person with my country or my daughter.

ts, I completely agree with you. Clinton was a brilliant man who let his baser impulses lead him to destruction.

I talk about Nixon a lot lately, too. He was also very intelligent, and had he not gone to complete paranoia I honestly think he would have been remembered as one of the best presidents we ever had.
