If you think that maybe you have come across a possible predator on this site.... what do you do about it?

First of all, one does not meet another only after a couple of email or chat exchanges. Never give your personnel information out to one you do not know. If decided to meet this other person, meet in a public place and drive your own car. And make sure someone know where you are going.
Be well but always be safe.......

I wont be the first to admit there are some screwed up people on these websites, but I screen carefully, I careful, I look for what I want, and if I think something isn't right at any point I let it go, this person may not be a predator but they may be screwed up mentally or whatever. Just let it go, any one with a half a brain will see something is wrong if it is....my advice. Dont settle for less than what you want and you will never have to worry about it

when meeting the first few times dont be alone, go out in public where there are lots of people...dinner, a movie somewhere where there are lots of people

that is the best way to get to know someone and when you do meet someone in private for the first time and a few times after at least

ALWAYS HAVE A SAFE CALL as screwed up and not right as it sounds to some....i did it myself and the Dom didn't even have a clue what the call was about.....didn't even know until almost a year later when i told Him, i was safe and we are still playing together to this day!

Just keep it safe sane and consensual and if it goes to far...call the police as humiliating as it may seem if it's not consensual dont let it slide because it may happen to somone else (THIS OF COURSE IS THE WORST CASE SCENEREO, DONT DO IT IF IT ISN'T CALLED FOR)

Contact a Moderator with all of the alleged predator's information. The moderator's can then watch their postings & decide if they belong on b.com or not.

i am going to ask something very different than the responses you have received...
What makes you think they are pretenders?
Are you concerned after a bad expereince or is it your gut feeeling?
Did their profile disappear?
Did you give out information and regret it cause something happened?

Depending on the answer, i would give differnt responses.

here is my example:
just today, i was chatting with a "CEO." some of the things he said struck me as weird coming from a man who is intelligent. i asked him to call (only give cell phone, generally untraceable) at a certain time. he was very pushy with what he wanted from me, of me. i think depending on the nature of the chat, i can accept this pushiness, sometimes its good in a way. i asked him if i received his pic for i had not remembered it. he told me it was on a CM email (i was chatting on yahoo). at the end of our chat i went to look.... not only was his account deactivated, but he had unsent all but one email, the one where he told me he deisred to be gang raped by a group of women (one of the things he desired from me... i told him my gf's had no idea i was in this lifestyle and i didn't know others well enough to ask others to do it with me). then he calls me 2 hours earlier than i specifically asked, with a lame excuse and i asked him, why did you deactivate and unsend emails? His voice was not at all of someone you might think a CEO and it was whiney and VERY defensive. i told him yes, it was your choice to deaactivate the profile, but to unsend all emails? i told him i had no idea of what he looked like and how did i know that who i was gonna met is really he? His response? "ok then just forget it."

to me, this is a pretender. tis why all the questions above.
a different slant than everyone else has given.

Do not forget to set up a safe call with some who you trust and know your lifestyle. You call them at a certain time to let them every thing is ok or for them to call you at a certain time. Also setup a code word so when they do call you can use it for them to know you are in trouble. They can call the police or set it up were you can use the next call to get out of the meeting like home emergency so you can leave.

I am a preditor. So far no complaints and I let out a growl before I come.

That's just a jerk and a phony, not a "predator".

I am not going to give out names, but was talking with a young woman about to go out on a first time meeting with a so called dom, I told her to use all the safety precautions, Of course it was totally up to her to use them or not. She met this man here in collarme.com, he said he was extreme but that he would be so in steps and in time, she went to meet with him, She told me she would IM me and let me know she was okay after the meeting. I guess she forgot all the safety steps I told her. She is now in Forest Lawn cemetery, she was repeatedly raped and beaten in a motel room. She died in that motel room, I see many here make light of this topic and think it is something that can not happen to them, if safety precautions are not done, if one does not listen, because maybe one falls in love to quickly or is too trusting...Yes this could have been you. Now i am short one friend, and you know the really bad part, this predator is still out there and still in Collarme.com for this is the place she met him.....PLEASEEEEEE...always be aware, be prepared, be cautious and stay alive..

If you know anything about the identity of the guy who did that I hope you gave it to the police.

Tell them, you are aware that they are a predator. Ask them to take a look at themselves and try to incourage them to make some positive changes. Stay clear of them. If something seems wrong it probably is. Be intuitive and instinctual and listen to you sixth sense.

I assume you contacted the authorities? They know she was murdered and by whom? They have the guy in custody?
If so, the local newspaper should have run some sort of story or the story could be verified rather easily.
Of course as you've stated. There is no way to get a person to use common sense if they are not going to. I've been lecturing for year's about the same fact. Trying to keep newbies safe. Yes, now and then I do lose one who has no common sense. I feel it is a failure on my part, I know in reality it isn't but it doesn't make it any easier losing a good friend.
I'm sorry for your loss. But, get the guy who did it. Prosecute his ass. One predator less on collarme that way. Many less women to be victimized.
If you have the evidence turn it over to the mods.
