I want to start a new Party - introducing the "Self-Serving Party"

Our platform is simple - complete honesty. You vote for us, do not expect anything for you. We will be self-serving ... we will line our own pockets; expect unconcern for the environment, the poor, taxes, immigration, etc. (unless we can somehow profit from it) We won't even shake your hand unless there is a cash or check for us in it.

We will be the first honest and forthright political party every conceived - we look forward to your support in 2008

It's not to late to convert to the new party - honesty is the key; we'll rob you blind and thank you for your vote - ;-P

I think you're too late, there are two partys like that already.
They're called Democrats and Republicans.

You missed the big difference - those parties tell you all kinds of lies about how much they are going to do for you, then they do what's best for them.

My party is going to do what's best for us and we are going to let you know up front that we are going to screw you.

See, we're going to be honest about it - a true novelty in politics
