ORIGINAL: onceburned Suing was the wrong thing to do, but the girls (18 and 17 y.o.) should have known better than to be knocking on strangers doors at 10:30 at night if it wasn't absolutely necessary. Yes, sometimes it seems no good deed goes unpunished. What a sad story. I dunno. It depends on where you live and what time of year it is. Where I live, that isn't an unreasonable thing to do. I get frustrated by things like this, because, at least from my perspective, it's highly representative of how society treats good kids. Everyone is taught to believe that teenagers are pretty much horrible, immoral, irresponsible creatures. Those of us who don't live up to the stereotype are often treated as if we do. (No, I'm not a teenager anymore, but as I still look like I'm abuot 17, it still applies) It's frustrating.
