Collarme.com emails disappearing for no none reason? (Full Version)

I am new to collarme.com, and I had a strange experience yesterday morning. I was sending emails very early, maybe 5 or 6 in the morning Eastern time. After I had finished, I looked in my Sent mail folder and all three were there. Later that day, I return to the site and all three of those emails had disappeared without a trace. Plus, I had received notice in my Yahoo email that all three had been replied to, and there were no replies in my collarme.com received email either.

Does anyone know what is going on with the email system? Is this something that happens often? If so, I'd just like to know so that I have backup archives and backup communication methods in place. One of those emails was a fairly long and I hate that I no longer have a copy of it.

P.S. Please don't consider this a complaint about the site. Every site has strong and weak points. I'm just trying to understand how things work on collarme.com. I'm new to the site, but I think it's great and I'm enjoying the communication!

We've been talking about this in the general section. Under missing post's. That is all the news we have so far.
Keep in mind the mods are very busy people. They also need their own lives...so be patient. I'm sure all will be worked out in time. I know it is frustrating, but this is a free site.

Proud, I know there's a problem, but i told a couple of people I was going to call, now cannot find phone numbers; am going to look like a liear (for not calling yest or today). I'm just whining for not predicting problem and writing things down

Thanks, everyone, for the info and the link to the other discussion. I'm very new to the boards here and wasn't sure where to put my question. And I want to reiterate that my post wasn't a complaint. I have a technical background and a great appreciation for all the hard work that goes into building and maintaining a large site like this one. I was really asking if this email system hiccup happens often enough that I should be routinely archiving my emails by other methods.

I am having a problem also.

BULK MAIL. I have had a few sent to me, but I have never got them.
the only way I know this is because the person contacted me on yahoo and asked about if I had got them.

anyone else having BULK mail issues ?

Wow, I'd consider myself lucky if someone tried to send me bulk email and I didn't receive it. :)
