quote:
i'm wondering if it is common practice for more experienced Dom/mes to mentor more inexperienced Dom/es? Midear Buttercup- I don't think it's uncommon at all, at least informally- in fact, I'd hope it were the case that it is common- while many exaggerate the danger of some of the work we do, there are a few things that you should really have some help in learning. I have had the pleasure in the past few years of having a few seekers come to me, and I am always happy to help them along- it wasn't long ago that I was the seeker, and many wonderful, skilled people in the scene (top or bottom, male or female) took me in hand and showed me the ropes. With the exception of a few people who claimed to be my protoge, and went crashing about the scene with their asshat on, it has been a really good feeeling to be able to give something back. Stay warm, Lawrence
