Okay Folks, I would really appreciate some help in figuring out a movie title. This is a really famous movie and the actor who plays the main character is also now really famous, this is one of his first films.

The movie is set in the city. The guy has flashbacks of being in the country and there is a pickup truck with a bunch of guys in it, they chase down his girlfriend (I think she has blonde hair) and they rape her.

The guy is very broke and down on his luck in the city. There is a scene in a xxx movie theatre where a guy offers him money , so he lets the guy suck him off. Turns out the guy had no money. (might have been set in a bathroom)

The movie is from either late 60's through mid 1980's but most likely in the 1970's.

The actor is like Robert Deniro or Al Pacino or someone like that , just not sure who.

Sorry there is not more to go on, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Tried googling but was unable to figure out which movie.

Any help at all would be really truly appreciated!! Karma ++

Hmmm...."Taxi Driver" starred DeNiro. I think in the movie he was from the midwest originally and ended up in the city. He spent a lot of time in porno movie theatres. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
