LOL yeah, for as much as Master paid for his, he doesn't use it enough to think it was worth it.  Then again I had a very bad reaction to a particular zap with the TENS unit so he's been a bit cautious with this toy.  I'll have to ask him to pull it out again...all this talk about it has me itchin' for it...heh.

Status: offline 		I think they are worth every penny.  But then I didn't fork out the money for the Violet Wand or TENS Unit.  Though he seems to really enjoy using them on me.  So it works.  I did notice that one website has a self contained dildo with power pack for $175.  Maybe I could save my pennies, but then again I would probably not leave my house...lol.  Not to mention what makes everything work is the dymanic between two people.  The latest version of the TENS Unit with all the attachments and downloadable programs is great.  Though I do love a hard spanking and many other things as well.  Variety is very nice.

Status: offline 		We paid about $200 for our violet wand, but that was about 4 years ago and I can't seem to find the company online anymore.  It came in a really nice metal 'suitcase' and had several implements, glass as well as metal.  It also has the attachment that when held in one hand makes your other hand (or whatever touches the subject first) the conductor.  I have added lots of new toys to the selection (anything metal or mylar works - use your imagination).  The intensity is indeed adjustable as has been noted by others.  The charge can also be weakend by spreading it over a large area of glass (the bulb and mushroom mentioned) or intensified by using something with find points (pinwheel and needles as mentioned).  You can indeed 'brand' someone if you turn it all the way up and use a single fine point.  (I wouldn't suggest this)  You can also experience what feels and sometimes looks like a sunburn later if you use it for a prolonged period of time.  I've tried mine on many subs and it seems like they either love it or hate it.  There's rarely any middle ground.

They are definately fascinating machines.  I hope you get the opportunity....i was hooked the first time.

What you described sounds like his set up.  The glass dildo lights up kind of orange inside, if I recall correctly.  It had a wire brush and rake as well.  I just spoke to him about it this afternoon - it's been so long since he has pulled it out. Looks like we're going to try it again...

Status: offline 		thank you everyone for your replies.  Am now bordering between never wanting to touch a light switch again (lol) to curiosity getting the better of me. However, knowing the problems I have putting a new lightbulb in if the switch is on probably means I'll just enjoy watching.......but oooooh it does sound intriguing
